One earlier poster said that he felt that the need for bath houses has past. I don't agree. When one hooks up on line you don't know if you are going to hit it off in person. At a bathhouse you can enjoy the selection, watch, listen, relax, chat with a variety of people. You can have anything to a fun grope to a long session back in a room. This is it. I mean at all of them it depends who else is there and what you are up for doing. If all you want to do there is fuck a hairy latino bottom between 18-25, then you might not get what you want. If you want some sort of sexual encounters with guys who are average to above average in looks, and it's crowded, you will probably have a good time. So, go on a weekend evening I think for maximum effect. But yeah back rooms / dark rooms in Europe are a whole different business. Went to an underwear party at The Vault in London and um, it was awesome. The Hoist in London was crazy, but I read on line that it closed on Dec 11 2016
It's all down to luck really, I tend to judge more by staff friendliness and cleanliness. Been to baths in Philly and Reno where the staff were just so friendly. Small sauna in Akron Ohio was the dirtiest, oh and the one in Glasgow in the lane (Robertson St?, it needs a clean for sure). The only time I found a crowd that just didn't seem to be going for it was in Seattle, a midweek somewhat busy place but everyone just stood around. Older clientele tend to get busier I find.

Indeed they do, because I had similar experiences at saunas all around the country, backroom bars and sex parties in New York, anything by Daniel Nardicio, Dean Johnson or Jonny McGovern, must be over a 1000 sexual partners by now. And yet I have never had a sexually transmitted disease either.

Can you explain why you experienced Europe so differently from the US? Or do you mean that darkrooms do not exist in the US?
