I don't bother with the knock off sites. They are simply lame and a very poor imitation. With the amazing amount of traffic on here, this site is always evolving and always interesting.

Oh, ok, i know what you mean. I've tried mingling there but there is just too much meat slinging going on. After a while, no one minds the blood or the smell. I wouldn't call it a comparison to this site at all. Not even close to being on the radar.
Okay, I've joined and only made one post. A list of my extensive sex toy collection in the sex technique thread. I sort of want to copy it and make a thread over here on the subject in the women's forum. Sex toys are too expensive to find through trial and error, but that's how I've slowly learned to find the good ones. Sharing experiences and advice could be fun and prevent buyer's remorse.

i'm kinda curious about what kinda changes Mr. Rob_E will be making over on SF, and if any of those changes will wash back this way.
any one who hasn't joined.. the sites are very different, in tone and the posting habits of the locals. the pace is slower, the over all feel is very hetero sex club in the mid west.
i do like the Ask A Girl/Boy section over there. i suggested something like that in the Suggestions thread here *i may or may not have deleted it:redface:* and it seems to keep the curious from turning the female population into a lab study.

I like that idea, too. It would separate the threads that are just for polling the women for their opinions from women's issues.

We already have a mechanism for that. It's called the report post icon.
If you see a thread that you don't consider a woman's issue report it and ask to have it moved to whichever forum you think is more appropriate. If the mods agree then it will be moved. Women do participate in all the other forums so having to designate a specific forum for males and females to ask each other questions seems redundant.
Here's the other issue.
Define a woman's issue, precisely.
Menstruation, preganancy, menopause?
Nail polish, hair & shoes?
Our perspectives and experiences on relationships and sex?
What exactly is the delineation?
Now, isn't every thread started anywhere on any forum an attempt to poll others for their opinions on whatever subject is discussed in the OP? Yes, it is. So a woman polling other women for their opinions would have to be moved out of WI to this new forum as well. Might as well get rid of the WI forum altogether then.
You can't just remove threads on womens issues just because they're started by men. A woman's issue is no less a woman's issue because a man initiated the discussion. That would be sexist discrimination.
If one simply must have an area where only women can contribute there is the Real Ladies Group and it's related forum. One of the best things about LPSG is that there are no exclusionary areas on the main board where any particular group is unwelcome to participate. I don't wish to see this change.
