First and foremost-apologies if there is a thread with this in already-I just can't find it.

Anyway, My wife is 4 months pregnant and we enjoy a good sex life. the problem is that she has a condition (Incompetent cervix?) that if we have deep penetration can bring on labour.

So the question is really for the fathers out there who are 9+inches in length what are the best positions for feeling deep but is actually shallow

So far we have tried spoons-which is the best so far and missionary where I only go about half in while she holds the rest in her hands.
we enjoy really intimate love-making and this is really frustrating and locks the eroticism.

Any helpful ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hi, thank you for the responses. We have checked and definitely not been advised to abstain from sex, more to just be gentle and not go hammer and tongs.
Proudshower-not really complaining about my length. Re your comments about sex during pregnancy it has been getting better and more frequent as the pregnancy progresses.

Thanks again

We are dealing with this now with our second. I am 9 1/4 x 6 3/4. She gives me a lot more head when she is pregnant. Recently I have been standing with her over to the edge of the bed. I am just careful to not go in too far. She is usually so hyped up from sucking me that she cums fast. I have another month of filling her full of cum without worrying about it.

Yet another guy with 9+ inches but no pics!

Getting back to topic, surely if you have been told that intercourse, whether deep penetration or no, is a risk to the unborn baby, shouldn't you just abstain for whatever time is left?

Basically to risk bringing on labour for a woman at 4 months is to risk killing your unborn baby.

You might be willing to take that risk but I very much doubt that, if this was a genuine situation, your partner would be willing to.

I have just checked your profile and can't believe what I have seen. You list your occupation as 'saving lives', I take it that doesn't extend to your unborn child?
And all for the sake of a fuck?

So I gather that she isn't going to have a cerclage performed to remedy the incompetent cervix issue? Because if so, sex is likely going to be out of the question.

None the less, intercourse with both of you on your sides (be it facing toward or away from each other) would probably be best, and will ultimately be one of only a few options available as her shape increasingly makes intercourse more cumbersome with time. Also, don't discount the fact that there are many ways to create pleasure and orgasm without PIV that are going to be a lot safer, and could be just as pleasurable.

Tangent: the idea that sex during pregnancy can damage the baby or create a premature labour risk is a classical viewpoint. More modern medical views typically advocate sex until 4 weeks before delivery. However, I understand that her medical condition clearly complicates things, and nothing I've said should override the opinion of your doctor.

Thanks for your comments. Again can I reiterate our Dr's have NOT told us to stop having sex! I have already made this point but some seem to have mis-read what I have written.
Secondly lady4u2-why would I need to post a picture of my penis. You don't know me so therefore I have no reason to lie. Please get off your soap box and don't troll people who are asking for genuine advice.
Again thank you to those who have offered their thoughts and suggestions

I like the anal idea someone already mentioned. Have you brought that up?

"Honey, to avoid any risk to our baby... I'm just going to stick it in your ass. Where's the lube?"

Believe me, I'm no troll, surely if you post a thread like this I am entitled to offer my opinion, sorry if you don't like what I say.

In the first post you said that your wife has a condition which mens deep penetrative sex would risk bringing on labour. Bringing on labour at 4 months would effectively mean a miscarriage, i.e. the death of your unborn child. I can't believe that any medical professional would advocate sex in those circumstances and especially with the proviso 'it's ok to have sex but just don't go deep'.

And I ask again, why are you prepared to take such a risk? If you are as big as you say you are how can you have sex without 'going deep'?

I think I am also entitled to ask for genuine advice. Do you think for one minute that if we were told that it is dangerous we would carry on. Unfortunately, anything written can always be misunderstood in a way that is not intended. In this Case I find your comments insulting, self righteous and rude. Like I said-this may have not been intended, but I do not appreciate being made to feel like a guy just wanting "a fuck" your words not mine. Making love and being intimate is an important part of a relationship, most average guys would never get anywhere near the cervix, we have never been told to stop and are well monitored.

How about mutual masturbation with a mix of oral?

I find few things hotter than watching my wife masturbate while I do the same and alternate fingering/tasting her.
