I'm not sure if its a question of shame in why people don't show there face with there body here.i think its a matter of context. if I were on say a nude beachI would feel no shame in being identified, or a site that was related to simple nudity for the purpose of freedom. This site has the agenda of nudity for the purpose of display. That being showing yourself for evaluation as a sexual role. Nothing wrong with human nature and our need to be valued on occasion. But that said I believe that in this context it is a personal expresion not to be displayed at your work place by those who have taken your pics off the site. The same reason i would not display my sexual involvements in front of my family or coworkers, it is not relevant to ther understanding.
Would I want to see you with an erection at work or at the grocery store? As much as your penis in itself is not shamefull, the context of your behaviour given the environment and interaction of people would be out of place. The same being if my photos here were stolen and sent to my workplace or other venues where it would be out of context.

Ok so reading these forums and a few others things has prompted me to start a post about our not so hidden shame of our own sexuality.

In this place a place that is predominately about sex and sexuality i still see so many posters Downing the sex industry, downing porn stars while they surf the web for porn, speaking ill of sex workers and the like.

So many pictures of cocks and so very few face pics and likewise for women's pics as well.

Why do we still fear our sexuality so much?

Why do we are we so ashamed?

Rowan Ravenseed,

It's is not an issue of one being ashamed, but more so the need to retain one's job. I don't know what you personally do for a living, but lots of professional people would lose their livelihood if they posted pictures of their faces on porn sites/forums. I didn't set these boundaries.
