Uhh, Straight guys aren't interested in having sex with guys. Some bi or gay guys actually lie and say they are straight because they know about the gay male fantasy of being with a straight guy. They figure they can get you all hot and bothered and really bring out the pig in you.

The closest you can get to that is being with a guy who's never been with a man before, and thats usually uncomfortable and very awkward for the both of you. Or at least thats been my experience.

The unfortunate thing is a lot of anti-gay bigots have that very fear - that gays are somehow predators who try to convert straight guys. I know that's not true, and yet for some reason lots of gay guys seem to get off on the fantasy of having sex with a straight guy.
Here's a tip - if a guy is actually straight, he doesn't have sex with men. If you're a man and you're having sex with a straight guy, you're really having sex with a gay or bi guy who's in the closet. I'm sure some people will disagree but that's by take.

Schlots, I'm sure you mean well but you make two statements that, to me anyway, are completely different and unrelated. You mention 'a lot of gay guys with a fantasy of converting the straight guy' and 'lots of gay guys seem to get off on the fantasy of having sex with a straight guy'. The key differing words are 'fantasy' and 'converting'. Forgive me if I sound sensitive but, as a gay guy, I try to dispel myths when I notice them.
While I, and yes several friends and acquaintences, have certainly fantasized over bedding guys who've been straight, I honestly cannot recall ever sitting around with my peers and planning or hoping to 'convert' a guy to gaydom. We, if I may speak for Us, don't do that. What benefit would that bring? And such a thing simply cannot be done by outside forces as I see it. If a guy who is straight wants to play on 'our team', that's his personal path which is not up to anyone else to decide.
If I may ask, who are 'a lot of gay guys' that you refer to in your comments? People you know? This is not a personal affront. I'm curious what you are basing your comments on.
As for other comments about gays having a special, or odd, moment to play with a straight guy, I do not believe this makes the straight guy gay. People are curious beings. Exploration is not necessarily a destination.

Windy, since you consider yourself 100% straight, I could not argue with you. There's nothing from the 'other side' calling you. There are several shades of differences between 100% gay and 100% straight, though (just doing a sampling of the members here as an example).
I rated myself as 1% straight here and still today could not see myself 'doing the deed' with a woman. Kissing and fondling is no prob, however.
Hmm. Does not being totally into a woman make me weird or a perv?

i've said this before on lpsg. there are straight guys who may fall in love with another guy (gay or straight) and make love or have sex. some guys may only be attracted to that one male and not to males in general. so i still don't feel this issue is all that simple. it's like a gay guy who may fall for a woman. it happens.

Being bisexual myself I can never really understand the perspective of a straight or gay person. I can't imagine what it would be like to be completely unaroused by men or women. So the issue of whether someone can explore sex with the same gender and still be straight is something i have no personal perspective on. As far as I'm concerned people can label themselves whatever they want. If a guy jumps on every cock that walks by and still calls himself straight, more power to him, doesn't make a difference to me.

Why are so many people putting labels on one on other? true, In a way it does make the world easier to understand.
Gay, str8, bisexuals... these are labels. What really makes anybody gay, bi or str8. is it the lifestyle, the sex habits or both or neither of the above?
For me, a guy is officially declared str8 only when he's dead and has never had sex with with any men whatsoever. he therefore has the title of being str8. In the meantime any guy is potentially gay or bi till he has sex (consensual) with another man, and enjoys it.
I met some guys coming out full blown gay in their 60's after being married with kids!!! Some guys just had a handjob in their teens by a school buddy and end up married with a woman and also have these flaming personalitites. Some never fucked a girl ( are they gay?), but fuck guys all the time. And some have sex with men and women who like to get fucked by guys and a few days later fuck their g/f.. ...anyways, there are so many to describe ourselves.

That is also true hungspermboy.... that is sssoooo rare though. this str8 guy who falls in love with a gay man is a lot more of a fairy tale (for a gay man) than anything else. i never heard this happening in real life before. This str8 guy has to be ssssssssssssoooooooo fucking cool, I want to meet him. Do you know how convenient it is to live a str8 life as opposed to a gay life? that would have to be real love to give all that away. And believe me, I dont live out in the boonies to say that.

I don't know but maybe what hsb is getting at is that guys might fall in love when they're young & haven't thought about being gay or something or living their lives together forever/like maybe a passing thing.

I'm continually amazed that on a site where we express our sexual orientation as a percentage split, we can still get so bogged down in gay/str8/bi. Looking around, people like me who are 100% either way seem to be a minority, and there aren't many 50/50 people that I've noticed either. Sexual orientation is a spectrum, and even then, the sexual orientation we express to others may not have any relation to what it really is. Whether we say we are gay bi or str8, generally what we are saying is how we wish to be percieved, and not necessarily what we want to be doing between the sheets.

I know a few of my friends have wondered whether they truely are str8, and have, to differing degrees, some mentally and some physically, experimented to find out what they like. Many chose the wiser and safer route of watching some gay porn and seeing how they liked it as an important indicator.

Personally, I tried having sex with a woman to see if I could "prove" to myself that I was str8. It only served to prove to me that I liked guys. However, I still did what I did... does that make me bi?

And the posting goes on. I would suggest that when one is in their youth, high school or university, that most experiment with members of the same sex. Does experimentation label one for life. I would say, NO!!!!!!
