Ladies,

I know there is the typical guy fantasy of screwing around with either the teacher or student (depends on situation). I'm wondering, how many of you ladies out there ever thought of or actually screwed around with a college teacher either because you thought he was hot or you were trying to "help your grade". I certainly don't troll my classes looking for anything, but the thought has crossed my mind when a hot student has asked "is there anything I can do to raise my grade?" I'm aware of the ethics behind it. ;-)

Oh my, I would have never had the gumption to attempt such a thing while I was in college.
I recall having a crush on one professor, and I got into the worst gigglefits during his classes. Nothing but giggling from beginning to end. The topic was a serious one, and it was embarrassing, but I just couldn't stop myself.

I've only had sexual thoughts about one college professor, and I'm not even sure why. He's completely NOT my type, but I had a huge crush on him. He was my Intro to Administration of Justice/Criminal Justice professor (he taught both classes). He was in his 50's, not very tall, bald on top with short salt 'n pepper hair on the sides, overweight, always wore slacks and a button up shirt to class. But, he was a great story teller and teacher. Super funny. Very intelligent. I had gotten a tattoo one night before class, and the next morning as class was about to begin, I was lathering it up in lotion. He walked past me on his way to the front of the class and stopped when he saw my tattoo. "New tattoo?" he asked. "Yeah, just got it last night." "Oh nice, I started one on my left shoulder, haven't finished it though." For some reason, that short conversation sort of unveiled this whole other side to him I didn't imagine him having. He seemed like such a "square" in his appearance, it would have never dawned on me that he'd have tattoos. He drove a really nice mustang, was a retired Chief of Police for one of the suburbs of Kansas City, and had a lot of stories exemplifying his bad-assery. Total crush on that guy.

I admit I've had a crush on a Professor but because he just seems mature and so intelligent. That is a total turn on but not really in a sexual way.

And as you get older the more you'll think about it, as every college and student knows 'there's no fool like an old fool', lol.

I went to college in my early 20s and was already a single mom. So the thought of a relationship with my professors was so far out of my mind I really never gave it a though (ok, one, but that came later).

That doesn't mean that it wasn't brought to mind sometimes, but not by me. I had an English Literature teacher talking about the Canterbury Tales once. The bawdy episode of the Wife of Bath lead to some mighty spirited and sexually charged discussion in class. I found myself gathering my things after class one day and it was just the teacher and me. I thought he was engaging in small talk while he gathered his things and told me the Wife of Bath had a gap between her two front teeth, and that was a sign in those days of being oversexed. I'm sure I chuckled or something and didn't respond. And then he said "I had my teeth fixed a few years ago." I quickly turned to face him and he had the most lecherous grin on his face. I smiled and left and never felt quite the same in that class. You better believed I watched the clock and had everything ready when period was over.

In another class we had a graduate assistant who told me once that he couldn't wait for the course to be over. I was thoroughly enjoying the course so I asked him why. And he told me it was so he could ask me out. Again, discomfort level rose and I made sure that door was closed after the semester ended.

I don't like mixing things like that, school or work and relationships. Gets too sticky.

If all my professors weren't so old I may have mentally explored this fantasy at some point. As it stands the thought of these long in the tooth fashion challenged individuals as fantasy fodder or of them having a hard-on for me seems rather, well, repulsive. No grade is worth all that ear and nose hair.

Thanks for the responses, but just for the record, I'm 33 and apparently "hot" according to ratemyprofessor.com. :) So, I've got that going for me. It also helps that I teach chemistry and so I get a lot of young ladies who are headed into the nursing program at the college.

Yep as I thought, a sleaze in the making. A professor who keeps an eye on silly rating, that mean nothing in the real world. As it's very likely, you are just the best of a bad bunch, plus your lectures are so boring that students take more notice of the tie your wearing, than what your saying.

18 to 22 year old students, don't automatically think a 33 year old professor is as young and as hip, as you seem to think. Rating sites are just for fun, to brighten up having to concentrate getting assignments in on time etc. We all like to have a friendly professor and as young women may even like flirting with the old professor, but most of us would be appalled if he made a move on us, or suggested it would help our grades.

The idea that you are already viewing each new in-take of nursing students, as your fan base and easy pickings, is disgusting. "I certainly don't troll my classes looking for anything, but the thought has crossed my mind when a hot student has asked "is there anything I can do to raise my grade?" You are already doing exactly that and the fact that as a 33 years old you already have such thoughts going through your mind, highlights you are not in the least professional and are a potential menace to the college and future students.

Obviously an apology is in order. I am certainly not as predatory as my posts may make me appear. I guess after watching one too many "dirty movies" the "Is there anything I can do to help my grade?" question triggered the wrong thought process. I do not think highly enough of my self to expect to be the heart-throb I may have implied. It was actually a student of mine of who brought the rating site and it's results to my attention. I meant for it to come off as tongue-in-cheek, and I failed. Miserably. I apologize for offending anyone, and for giving the very wrong intention about me. Upon re-reading the post I can certainly see how I could come across as predatory and sleazy. It was meant in good fun, to see if "Is there anything I can do to help my grade?" ever is what it means in the movies. Again, I am sorry if I offended anyone and for not being more clear in my intent.

You're allowed to play out you fantasies here. You don't have to apologize for being a man and having these thoughts. It's only when you cross the line of ethics in the real world that things become offensive or legally tricky. You certainly didn't offend me or come off as sleazy. You came off as regular guy who's fantasies of such a scenario exited your male psyche on a sex site. Certainly a safe place for them. Actually your fantasy is pretty tame as compared to some of the stuff I've read on this site. Final conclusion ... you're a healthy male with normal sexual fantasies.
