it's not a talent contest, it's a popularity contest. The same as Dancing with the Stars. The best never wins! Look at last year's AI. Kris Allen got 38,000,000+ votes from his home state of Arkansas -- a state with a little over 2,800,000 people. That mean's every man, woman, child and BABY would have to vote more than 10x each.
