Quoted for truth!
I think it would be a HUGE eye opener for the women of this site to take a look (and then a bath in listerine) at the straight porn forum and find out what the men of this site actually think about women.
It's disgusting and it's telling.
It's remarkable how their true nature and thoughts come out when they think they are unobserved and will go uncorrected.
My ignore list grows.

I could agree with this post if it read "some men of this site" instead of "the men of this site".

I agree. Some men of this site.

There was one really bad thread in Straight Porn that ended up being removed. My ignore list started with the men from that thread, including one regular poster from the boards here (none of the other guys post anywhere other than the porn threads). But there were three guys who stood up and said this thread is wrong. This is rape. What is being posted is wrong.

Not all guys are willing to participate in hatred against women - porn or otherwise.

(And Straight Porn is the dank basement of LPSG. I am pretty ok with a lot of porn, but there are some icky people and vids down there, imo....)

i don't mind the sluts, the whores, the used, the abused.. in a consensual setting, where derogatory verbiage is part of the kink. i wonder about the disconnect of the folks not seeing difference.

There's a generation of men who grew up with porn being their only real sex education. I feel for the women who must, inevitably, deal with such creatures, having been at the receiving end of an abusive relationship when still in my teens.

That's not to say that all porn is abusive or even that those who watch extreme gangbang porn end up being abusive; rather it's that there's a certain percentage who honestly believes that such is a standard expression of sexual caprice. It ain't.

Is all same sex porn really not exploitative of the individuals for the market demand?

I personally find most porn extremely dull, as I have said many times and much of it very unpleasant, but I do quite like a bit of CFNM, is that OK because the women either do or pretend to like objectifying men?

My erotic is OK, yours is nasty?

Breeders eh?

Yeah, you caught me: CFNM porn is both hot and exploitative, though I've yet to see an example of the genre where the male wasn't obviously a consenting partner to his objectification.

On the other hand, there's a whole lot of man-on-male* porn coming from the eastern part of central Europe and much more from Russia which is blatantly exploitative. There's even more coming from Mexico and South America (Brazil, natch), where the entire object of the shoot seems predicated on abuse and exploitation (see MachoFucker, et al), where consent seems, at best, a quaintly risible concept.

*A term I've coined but which is oddly à propos to this thread...

Yet I *love* that shit, and I'm many things but I'm neither a creep nor predatory in my actual sexual expression. Go figure: I also have scads of ultra-rough gangbang porn on my external hard drive. At least I got rid of all that phoney pseudo-non-consensual BangBus pustulence: yay me!

This is just my own opinion but I have noticed that some of the more belligerent straight men on this site have an outright hatred for feminism. Whether it's a reaction to the women's liberation movement of the past or an outright hatred of women generally, I don't know. I have been the object of that criticism at times. I think the mods don't really know what to do about it. Also there's a real distaste culturally for some of the excesses of feminism and it shows up here on occasion. I could name names but I don't think that would make much difference.
