A disurbing topic about sexual addiction on internet was featured on Today's Show. It bothered me a bit since I spend a lot of time surfing for sex or porn sites, mostly just to look. (Who am I kidding, OK get horny and jerk off usually several times a day) I LUV BIG PENISES. Now the question is, am I a sex addict and do I need to seek professional help?

Looking at porn on a daily basis seems to be the norm these days, but If you are neglecting family/friends, or missing work, then you have a problem.

Age and energy are factors in how often you beat off, and experience seems to factor in with porn at least for me. If I'm having sex with others, that is usually more engaging than porn is, although I always like porn. The problem with "addiction" is that you really have to know some real addicts before you can compare yourself to them. A psychologist who knows what real addiction is can probably give you the best quick answer. I think the main thing you can do yourself is think about other things that also get you engaged and hopped up. I love cumming, alone and with others, and love sex with strangers or people I really love a lot, in or outside relationships. It's really a great thing, and keeps the mind and heart clean and happy. But it's good to do other things that keep your blood pumping, sports, music, arguing in a pub about politics, talking about your problems with your friends, all of that. To answer any question about health, you have to look at a larger environment like that I think. You can't look at just one activity like jerking off, and come to a conclusion. You have to back up and look at the overall set of activities, the balance, things you enjoy, things you don't. It's like looking at a countryside or some woods, and trying to figure out if there is a healthy, sustainable balance there--or if an ecosystem is at risk because somebody's putting in a big cement plant. As for big dicks, well, you probably just have a good eye when it comes to picking out the handsome, fun guys.
