I know this comes as news to some people, but not every single element of every single thing you watch has to be about providing you with wank material.
because there a million places to watch generally hot/fit people, that exists and then some, i’d rather watch average people take on survivor and literally sink or swim, fail or thrive. love island is on many nights a week if you want to watch those kinds of guys
And I'll add once again that it's not like US Survivor is without good looking guys. Every season has at least one or two hunks to keep people happy. But god, not every single contestant has to be a male model.
I’m not trying to yuck someone’s yum like other people are - I’m not saying generically fit guys are bad or placing a value judgment on it (like the other side is by being like “who would ever want to look at these ugly people?”). I’m just saying; you can see “hot guys” everywhere, on almost literally any other reality show, and some of us also aren’t into that especially on Survivor.
That Australian Survivor guy does nothing for me lol.
I'd prefer to watch people that take survivor seriously and do at least the bare minimum ,anything to prepare. They now are casting people that can't swim, can't run, smokers who quit the 1st day. Brandon who was so out of shape how did he pass a physical to be cleared. They brought the guy who was on subscription drugs that had to quit. They all quit, cause they can't make it. all those people took the place of someone who really wanted to be on and would have done the work to succeed. You shouldn't be able to succeed or excel by only playing a social game. That's Big Brother. There have been plenty of great competitors that were hot guys of different types that were fantastic. One doesn't preclude the other. Remember season 20. Lots of hot guys and often rated the best season by fans and critics.
