Shaft hair problems?

I'm a pretty hairy guy and so for as long as I've had pubic hair, I've had hair on my shaft. It's not like a full blown bush on my shaft itself, but there's enough sparse hairs for it to annoy me as they go over halfway up. Plus, they can get pretty unruly when I let the grow.

I'm not sure how many of you have tried it, but shaving the shaft of your flaccid dick isn't an easy task, especially when you're on the average side. Shaving while hard makes it a bit easier, but is difficult to stay hard and even then results in ingrown hairs which is something you definitely don't want on your dick!

Anyway, does anyone else have similar problems or good remedies?

I have a few stray hairs up on the shaft. I've shaved them before with some success, but now I simply pluck them out with tweezers. Hairs up on the shaft seem to be softer/fairer so are easily plucked with minimal discomfort.

Hm, never had a problem with shaving the flaccid shaft here. Just held it out with one hand and shaved with the other...works for me.

I shave my sac and an area about 1" wide all round my cock. But I pluck the hairs on my shaft right down to the base and then some, so that no shaved skin can penetrate and chafe my wife's pussy.

Hmm, yeah I have the same problem. My solution so far was to pluck one by one but they regrow quite fast and it's tedious to always have to do this. Anyone tried any products or know of any short cuts?

Have a large amount of hair about an inch up my shaft that I shave regularly. easier when hard but not always to get that way so I pull it out and shave. Use Neutragena after shave lotion to help with the ingrown hairs that are painful.

Watch porn while shaving...I just stroke my cock occassionally to keep it firm enough. Plenty of shaving cream. Also there are hair minimizing creams you can use.

I usually don't shave at all, but recently I tried Nair for Men. The label warns against using on the pubic area, but I used it on my balls and had no problems. it worked great -- no discomfort, the results were very smooth, it grew back much more slowly than shaving, and best of all, when regrowth did start, it was softer, not prickly.

Or you could use a mini Remington trimmer for that area. Not as smooth but is good for maintenance.

I use a product called Veet. In fact, I used it yesterday to remove the hair on my balls, taint and also shaft. I leave it on for 5 minutes and just rinse off the hair in the shower. It lasts for a long time and no chance of ingrown hairs or possible cutting myself.
