How do you hide your perverted links from your roommates or partner?

I think they'd shit their pants seeing my videos or porn browser history.
There must be a better way then erasing your search history?

There's some bdsm, very rough sex involved, monstercocks destroying tiny women etc.
Latest thing I got into was daddy dom/little sub.

At first glance I don't think that would make a good impression. Especially if it's a girl.
And I know she's going to be all detective on me because that's what I'd do.

Create a your on account on the computer. Go into the users folders and change the way you log on. Force the computer to request login and password.

Seperate logins! I make a new account for anyone who visits and needs to use my computer. "It's easier not to get your emails, site passwords, etc, mixed up with mine".

I'm 100% sure the guys I lived with had seen the vast amounts of purely homosexual porn in my browser history, but I couldn't care less. If they questioned me on it at least it would have given me a good reason to come out as bisexual. No one ever mentioned it though.

A computer savvy individual can access files on your computer regardless of any preventative measures you put on it. May I suggest you keep your info private by not allowing others to ever use your PC.

BTW, the best way to prevent someone else from seeing your history is not to record your history at all. Go to tools ---> options ---> privacy ---> set it to, 'never remember history'.

I'm aware of icognito mode on chrome, but no evidence is evidence in itself. She'll see me on the pc surfing and then checks my history and nothing is there?
I'd also like to stay logged into my several accounts and not have to enter my login data everyday.

I can keep my computer locked away with passwords and accounts but I do want to be somewhat transparent. And besides the search history is still saved in temp files and cookies.

Plain vanilla porn is okay, it is expected so I don't mind that.

I could use my laptop for all the dirty stuff I guess.

Many browsers have a feature called private browsing. It doesn't record your site history. And in most browsers, you can go to specific links and delete them without clearing everything.

That may be true of a few super geeks but I doubt that there are many techies who could access my private stuff. But then I drive a Macintosh, which might well make such matters easier than on a PC. What I did was create a 50 gigabyte encrypted disk image that can't be accessed without knowing my password. It uses the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard established by NIST (256 bit is available but is notably slower to open.) Since I don't routinely share my computer with others I do my salacious browsing with the regular browsers in my applications folder, meaning if I were anticipating someone else using my computer I'd need to clear my browser history. But if regular sharing of my computer were necessary I'd simply install a separate browser in the encrypted disk volume and use it for the fun stuff. The encrypted disc image is a Macintosh .dmg file and when opened with the correct password a disk volume of the same name appears on the desktop. As long as it is open it can be accessed by anyone and used just like any disk. To make the data secure again you simply eject the disk volume and it's gone until the next time the .dmg file is opened with the password.

There is open software available (free) to do the same thing on the Windows 7, Vista, XP, Linux and Mac operating systems at TrueCrypt - Free Open-Source On-The-Fly Disk Encryption Software for Windows 7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X and Linux but having never used it I don't know how easy it is. My disc image was created by the Mac's built in Disk Utility software and it's simple as pie to use.

I think I'm just giving up on my online sexual persona.
Still watching regular porn though without hiding the fact, just don't have a need anymore for active profiles on all these adult networking sites.
And I don't feel like hiding this sexual side either, just have to be carefull not to unload everything at once.

Separate accounts with a login and password is all you should need to do to keep things away from casual prying or stumbling across.

Of course someone could always hack the drive but the same applies to any computer, shared or not, that someone else can get physical access to. If you are sharing a computer or a house with people that are going to go to extreme lengths to snoop I'd find new people to share with.
