Unfortunately...life is NOT LPSG and conversations will not go accordingly.

Hell, if some stranger or even a co-worker walked up to me and sparked an LPSG-like convo, I'd think he was blind, crippled, and/or crazy and walk away.

I can't believe you guys have to share rooms when traveling on business, I've never had to share a room.
I am with you on that...Most corporate travel policies I have encountered (dozens of them and counting) wouldn't dream of imposing that kind of intimacy between 2 co-workers. I could understand co-workers who know each other and are trying to save the company money or stranded somewhere with only 1 room left...but sharing with a total stranger!!!

It seems to me that it would be the employer who would be legally at risk for enforcing such a blatant invasion of personal space.

I sleep naked unless I have to wear clothes to stay warm. Here's an idea. When you return to your room after dinner and any other evening activities, change out of your dressier clothes into a t-shirt and a pair of gym shorts (or sweatpants if it's cold). They make great lounging clothes. When you're ready to sleep, pull back the sheets and blankets, sit on the bed, slip off whatever you don't want to wear and leave it on the floor so you can dress the next day before you stand up. I've slept nude around numerous people, but they never knew it. If the guy has the light on reading and you don't have enough privacy, you can always wear the clothes to bed and slip them off once you're under the covers or he turns the light out.

Sleep nude.
Occasionally walk to the bathroom nude.
Come out of the shower and talk to him as you towel off
nude.
... And let the magic happen.

I just get into bed in my boxers then slip them off under the covers to be comfortable.

You're not in a crowded lockerroom, so I don't see a reason to wear anything to the shower. Might wear a towel coming out, for modesty's sake, but I don't dress under it like these idiots at Bally's....LOL--and if bunkie doesn't like it, he can look the other way. However, I usually sleep in briefs or whatever if sharing a room on business, just because I don't want some stranger watching or perving on me while I sleep. Creepy!

Just be a man and let the rest sort itself out. Can't believe we're discussing this, seems so natural.

Considering the views on this site are quite an anomaly, given the fact that this is a work environment, I would display a bit of modesty. I don't think sleeping in boxers would be out of line, but walking around naked just for sake of being naked would be slightly inappropriate by most standards. It's not that hard to remember to take some clothes or cover yourself with a towel before or after you shower.

When I was in the (British) military, I sometimes had to share. Only the Americans worried about being seen naked. I usually sleep nude, and I wear briefs under my uniform, which are too sweaty for sleeping, so I bought some cheap boxers specially for sleeping in when I shared with an American.

Why not wake up early to shower and dress, while your co-worker sleeps? If he wakes up while you are undressed, tell him to go back to sleep or mind his own damn business. Agree in advance that you'll be washing and dressing early, so that you will not be seen or disturbed. If he is embarassed or uncomfortable, if he comments (as my roomate did) this is his problem-remind him of your agreement. Take your allotted time to dress and bathe as you like.

Do what you normally do. A lot of men are sleeping naked, I do not see the problem.
I always sleep naked, wherever I sleep, I had never comments from a roommate.
There is a good chance your roommate also sleeps naked, when he sees you are sleepin without a boxer.

I think it's because you guys are European. It is taboo to just walk around naked here. While I enjoy it in my apartment, if I am with a business associate of whom I don't associate with outside of a business relationship, I'm going to respect him and put on some damn clothes to bed.

I would agree to remain fully clothed until you get into bed. Once you're in bed, the person sharing the room is not going to remove your blankets to see what you're wearing or not wearing. I think the issue here is more what people are wearing in the motel room and less of what they are actually wearing under the covers.
