Ah yes, sexual assault - the latest in entertainment.... <sigh>
Perhaps, for added hillarity, the camera could have followed them home. We could have watched them break down as what had happened to them sank in. Perhaps if we were really lucky we could have seen a relationship unravel as they, too embarassed to tell their partners what had happened, shut themselves off and drove their partners away. We could have waited in their rooms at night, to see if they had nightmares. Oh, that would have been absolutely side splitting. More of this. More I say!
Is this over the top day or something? and if so why didn't someone tell me?
Its a guy running around pulling tops down, its happened to me, and yes it was embarassing, but if its enough to cause the reactions you seem to think it will, then I suggest the women have far bigger issues to be dealing with than some guy who pulls tops down.
You make it sound like they've been raped, and as someone who has been, I take serious issue with you making out that this is anything like that.
Its also possible that the shock of having their top pulled down will make them slip and fall under a bus, its possible that they could turn around and stick a knife in the guy, the possibilities are endless. Its also possible that someone reading your over the top comments about top pulling could make them feel like their personal experiences of sexual abuse are being belittled by you bigging this up so much and they could go to their bathrooms and slit their wrists, something very possible, but don't let that stop you
Regardless of whether it's staged or not, it's still sexual assault and not the least bit funny!
I feel sorry for anyone who laughs at stuff like that. There's far too much other humor around to amuse us all.
no, but if the woman has already had to deal with bigger issues it could cause all kinds of wonderful flashbacks. set her recovery right back to square one.Is this over the top day or something? and if so why didn't someone tell me?

i agree with you.I wasn't shooting the messenger DJ - just the people shooting the video.
Kotchanski, I'm sorry, but I take any sexual assault seriously. Yes, as you rightly said, some are vastly more serious than others. However I don't think that any should be ignored or regarded as 'just a little fun'. That is a slippery slope. Lets imagine that one of those girls had previously been a rape victim. What could the result of this be on their psyche? Not yours - you are obviously, and commendably, made of pretty stern stuff. But not everyone else is. I won't shrug off actions like this, in the same way I won't shrug off a little slap as being the acceptable end of domestic violence. Yes, the examples I gave may have been extreme, but they were simply there to make a point and there isn't one of them that isn't a possibile outcome.
