Have shaved a couple times but each time the itching was unbearable. Trimming it short works just fine.

I used to shave most and rock that cute little above clit landing-strip thing so popular among the porn-star set, but that got on my nerves, so I'm bald/stubbly, depending on how ambitious I'm feeling that day.
I will admit that I actually prefer my pubes after I've taken two weeks or so off of shaving... They're that length where they've surpassed prickly, but are not yet to afro-puff status.

I trim the shaft close, but just tame the wildness of the bush area. Since I do have body hair (not on my back&#33 it would look very silly if I shaved or trimmed realclose.

I have both trimmed and shaved. Each time I couldn't wait for it to grow back. In my opinion, the longer, thicker, and darker a man's bush, the more masculine he looks, especially when the bush grows high and wide. A shaved shaft just doesn't make a dick look longer. Just my opinion.

bblumbee, waxing has to be some kind of painful, although I would like to see the end result! My wife shaves completly bald, it took her some time to get used to it but now she loves it. She says it feels much cooler and she does'nt have to worry about stray hairs when she wears a bikini, she also loves to feel my balls slap against her bald mound when I do her doggie. :evilgrin:

I myself shave the shaft and balls and trim the bush close, just lookes neater to me. B)

hose... waxing is not necessarily the best approach for many women. It is painful; however, I have been doing this for a number of years. For me it was just easier to do than shaving. Another benefit is that I do not have to do it that often. It is almost like women getting their brows waxed.. if you do it for a long enough period of time, the hair doesn't grow back, at least that is my case!

I was meaning to ask you, bblumbee... Do you go to get waxed or do it yourself? I've always wanted to try, and I'm a bit curious as to what your thoughts are on the best way to go about it.

Well I shaved for about the second time ever a week or two ago and found I have to keep doin it cos when it grows back its furry and itchy and its just better shaved. I like the look and feel of it shaved, just not the effort. Of course now I can't even drop my pants for ID I look 12 down there lol. But yeah, shaved is good. I can't really imagine it being as bushy as it was before.

bblumbee, how often do you have to wax? The wife shaves her legs every day and countinues to her mound so she is smooth almost all the time. She says the extra time every morning is worth it.

absinthium... at first, i went to a salon and had it done. It was easier for me; besides, i did not like the pain associated with it. being that i have been doing it for a number of years now, I do it myself. I have a friend who owns a salon; they ordered the waxing machine (heater) for me and i get the wax from her as well.

I guess it depends on your comfortability....
