Shaving Arm Pits

i don't know if there is already a thread on this, but i wanted to know what men, both gay and straight, think about shaving arm pits. I am 18 and bisexual and a pretty hairy guy already and every now and then i see guys on porn sites with shaved pits. is it common? and do they do it only cause its more hygienic?

Shaving arm pits is a bit affected. If it's a huge thatch, then sure, trim a bit if it makes you happier. Seeing bare pits on a guy tells me he's too into himself unless he's a swimmer or performer. Hairy pits are one of the things that separate the men from the boys and men from women. I say leave them.

Well..I'm short on body hair..almost hairless creature still shave my bunch of 3 arm pit hairs as an habit..lol...anyways..if you desire to check out for a season, winter is a great choice.. just give a try and than make your own mind about it.

I find it males arm pits soooo sexy, I do love to sniff it deeply..but there is way of difference between smooth skin and hairy ones.. as sensual musky making delight (not stinky) goes..I prefer males arm pits hairy..as legs and arms medium; light sprinkles of hair on torax and a well maintaned bush to bald pubics. Both natural and shaved can look good and be fun to play with, but I think it really depends on the guy. There is definitely a difference in how most guys will smell with or without hair, but it's not necessarily a matter of hygiene, it's just that the smell is different. I keep mine natural, but that's a matter of personal preference. Like Gisella says, you can always try it out to see which you like better. It will always grow back.

IMO...shaving pubes are fine, but if you're a dude, leave the pits alone. Maybe it's just me or being raised in the South, but a man is supposed to at least have hairy pits.

On most guys I agree with you, but some guys can pull the shaved/trimmed pits thing off pretty well. Not really sure what makes the difference.

I have alway thought that I would hate to stick my nose in my wife's hairy stinky arm pit when we snuggle. So why would she want to stick her nose in my hairy pit. I shaved my armpits clean and my cock smooth, have for years; I am now hairless by laser removal.

Come to think of it I have never like to put my nose in my buddies arm pits. My brother is completely hairless, he use to be have himself shaved top to bottom with a straight razor, now lasered. My best friend also has clean arm pits and smooth cock. Our wifes are equally hairless.

The conversation going on behind me right now the 6 of us agree that shaved pits are the way to go. They are a lot more common than you might think. Check out a NBA game on TV this week, many of the guys have hairless underarms. When you are at the gym discreetly check out the guys that are lifting, you will be surprised by the number of clean pits you see.

I think it is a perference of all involved. I like both. But I know there are some ladies that think a hairy arm pit is super gross. I have shaved mine years ago and trim them now. I am about to go back to the shaved or real near shaved. I find the smell is much better from shaved one, and you don't look nearly as sweaty when you have to raise your arms into the air. Women shave theirs; they were raised that that was the thing they were to do in the no third world countries for the most part. IF you have the companies making the supplies and products to shave and can afford them, then shave.

my dorm roommate is a small guy compared to me, he's about 6'3 and 220lbs and is ripped, washboard abs etc. and he shaves everything: legs, dick, stomach, chest, back, and pits. i asked him once why shave your pits? he said he thought it made a difference in how much he sweat, like his anti-perspirant worked better without body hair. anybody notice this?

As my gf has pointed out, gay and bi men usually shave and trim themselves bald. Actual straight guys for the most part are the ones that stay natural. She says she would never give a guy with shaved pits and bush, chest, etc the time of day as her gfs wouldnt either. They say its too much like being with a woman, men should have hair and they dont want a guy that is more into themselves then the women they are supposed to be with. As someone said earlier to look at the gym at the guys lifting to see. My buddies and i have noticed that the ones that have bald pits are the gay guys and the guys with hairy pits are straight. Some do trim but for the most part they are natural.

I used to shave, but also had laser hair removal... so now hairless pits and just a small patch above my dick. Use much less deodorant and have less body odor

Yes, I agree. I don't like having a bush in the armpits. I trimm the hair but never shaved it smooth. Doesn't look natural for hair not to be there. So if its kept trimmed, it looks clean and feels better!

My pits get trimmed short in the summer months and left au natural in the winter.
