It's pretty easy, just be prepared to scratch your ass a lot if you don't get it quite right. The main problem area I have are my upper legs and pubic area, that shit sucks when it grows back.

I shave my ass about every 2 weeks. I've notice it actually grows back less and is thinner, unlike my face (go figure). Don't use a mirror or anything. Shave it twice: once up and then once down. Takes just a few mins and is easy to do. I'd also suggest using a separate shaver for your body vs your face.

Common misconception. This why women who have mustaches refuse to shave.

If you trim or prune a plant, it will grow back thicker because you are cutting the growing tip, which causes mitosis (one cell dividing into two) so you wind up with 2 stems instead of one. Contrary to all Jack in the Beanstalk animations plants don't keep growing out of the ground. If you carve you initals in a tree and come back in 20 years, it will still be at the same height.

Hair on the other hand (at least the part you can see) is dead. That's why it doesn't hurt to cut it. The growing point is under your skin. In other words, the opposite of plants. It grows under the skin and gets pushed out. Which is why women's "roots" show after a period of time after a dye job. Since the part you are cutting is dead, the is no mitosis (no cell division) so no it doesn't grow back thicker. When you get a haircut does it make your hair get thicker? If it did, after 20 years of haircuts you couldn't stand it.

    Hope that helps.

I must agree. The hairier, the more masculine-looking in my opinion.

I used to shave, and also not shave. Just depended on my mood, and the preferences of my partner at the time. You get very good at it, if you do it regularly. But I just got a full body waxing yesterday. Very fun. Completely smooth now. I recommend it over shaving. It was a two hour process though. Much slower than a shave. Better results though. No stubble. Plus it was fun to have a person taking off the pubes, scrotum, shaft and taint.

Cool..where can you have "everything" waxed? I was always concerned I would get a weird reaction if I asked.

I use an electric razor to trim my ass hair and around my anus. It doesn't make it grow back thicker. I prefer the electric razor because I don't have any ingrown hairs or irritated skin.

Always wanted to wax it, but to shy.

Matter of personal preference, I guess. I prefer to leave mine as I doubt the budget could withstand the sheer number razors necessary.

I wax myself. Awkward at first as far as getting the right positioning and if you mess up you can end up with a bit of a situation but once you get used to it it's rather easy.

Also, you have to use the hard wax that doesn't require strips. It's much easier on your skin.
