Shaving naked in front of others

I lived in my fraternity's house in college for 2 years. It was large but an old house which meant while nice, it didnt have all the modern luxuries. 20 - 25 guys in the house shared just two bathrooms which both had large open communal showers.

Laundered towels were provided in the bathrooms, so most guys (self included) walked to and from the bathroom naked when we were going to shower, and therefore yes, you'd probably shave naked. Most in our house were student athletes, so it wasnt all that different for us from the time we'd spend in the locker room.

I believe I've commented in another thread about this previously, but I did play baseball in college. After the games, our coach always invited a group of boosters (or potential boosters) back to the locker room for beers and to meet the players. The players ourselves always made fun of these guys in private who we could only assume were perves on some level who were willing to make large donations for the occasional privilege of hanging out in a college locker room to watch a bunch of young cock swinging around. I naturally had fun with it and would walk right up to the boosters stark naked to shake their hands and thank them for their support.

Today, when I'm at the gym, I tend to steer more towards whatever the norm is. Certainly strip naked, walk to and from the showers naked... but if I'm going to be standing at the sink shaving or brushing my teeth, I'll usually do that with a towel around my waste these days. I like showing off... but dont want to look like I'm going out of my way to do so.

Example: In the sauna, I've noticed that if I go in completely naked either it seems some guys are too timid to walk in or if they do, they stare at the wall or ceiling the whole time. BUT, if I just lay a towel across my lap in a show of "modesty" when really I'm manspreading with my swollen dong prominently hanging between my legs in full display, I tend to observe more glances (or stares). Presumably, b/c I'm "covered" guys think they're getting away with gawking.

Yeah i'd have to take a few long glances your way if I ran into you in the sauna...

I'll either shave while showering or right afterwards (face and head). In college, I shared an apartment with two good friends. Opposite our bathroom sink was a semi-opaque shower door, which had one of those fog-less mirrors suctioned on. The door gave some semblance of privacy, though when you stood right up to next to it, not much was left to the imagination. In the morning, it was typical for one guy to shower and another to be at the sink brushing teeth, etc.

I'm not one for shaving at the gym, but I've done it on occasion at the spa. My wife buzzes my head these days, so she's my main audience.

For three summers during college I worked in a national park that had dorms for us. My all male dorm was on the primitive side with four guys to a room and one bathroom per floor with a long communal sink. Not sure if it was just more accepted "in the good old days" or just everyone in a hurry to get ready but I'd say most of they guys were naked from the time they left their room till they finished with their shower and shave routine.

When I swim before work I shave naked after my shower. That's about twice a week. It's not a busy locker room and most of the guys that are there are regulars. I used to swim with a buddy before he changed jobs and the pool was far out of his way. He and I would shave together after swimming, but he'd be wearing his towel and I'd be naked. He never said anything or even seemed to give me a second look. That morning chat at the sinks always got my day off to a good start.

I'm not at all modest in the locker room, but if I happen to need to trim my beard, I do it over the sink before I hit the shower, although I will have a towel around my waist because doing anything else naked other than weighing/showering/drying is a bit excessive, in my opinion.

I have great memories of doing this in college in the eighties. As a closeted 18-year old with raging hormones, I was like a kid in a candy shop with the casual nudity that went with dorm living. It was a good thing that we did not have gang showers, as I wouldn't have been able to stay soft through an extended period of exposure. We had stalls, but the towel hooks were on the opposite wall from the showers, so (with the exception of a prude or 2 who hung their towels over the bar), we all saw each others' dicks regularly in these bursts of nudity. It was not uncommon for guys to leave their towels on the hook while they waited for an available shower or shaved/brushed teeth/groomed at the sink, while others would wrap the towel around the waste or hang it over the shoulder. I generally shaved with my towel over my shoulder, enjoying that my dick was exposed to my floormates for an extended stretch, while also having the means to cover it when I started enjoying it too much. It definitely gave me a manly feeling to be at the sink with a bunch of other guys, shaving and shooting the shit, our dicks all uncovered and visible in the mirror

Similar. I shave after shower w towel around waist. Take it off to dry my face. Then I weigh in naked at scale and walk a few steps to my locker holding towel. I dry off one more time, put on underwear.

Have always shaved naked since my first shave. However a few years back went camping and used the washroom. There, about 10 sinks lined up and all had come out of the showers and were shaving. Some like me nude and others in towels. Suddenly it went quiet and on turning around found that in fact the area was unisex and ladies also in states of undress were walking around the washroom. The guy next to me explained, mate that is why I wear a towel, at least it hides my admiration for the beauties.

I don't think it's odd if someone goes to the gym first thing for their workout. It makes far more sense to shave after your shower, which would be after your workout.

Regarding nudity, it doesn't matter to me if I or other guys are naked. Their state of dress is irrelevant. I'm there for exercise, not to either show off or be a voyeur.

At home I always shave naked and since I live alone, no need to shut the door. At the gym I will shave naked because I have to shave and at the same time get get some air dry time in. Every guy is staring at me, checking me out, I know this. I see them look and I really don't care. If they want to look, then look I guess. I always shave nude. Whether home or at the gym. I shave and brush my teeth in the shower at the gym. No big deal for me. Guys are always looking at me. No big deal. They can look all they want to it doesn't bother me at all. It's not like I'm walking around with a woody. If they only knew I'm a grower not a shower. Haha

Actually, I only shave in the shower, so I have to be naked. I don't get guys who shower, then go to sink to shave face (other than perhaps better lighting). I have both a mirror and light in my shower.

I have even shaved my balls in open naked locker room shower. It would be silly to shower, shave face, then go home to shave balls.

If you go to the gym in the morning and then go straight to work (or anywhere other than home), it is almost impossible not to shave there.

My boss usually goes to steam bath with a member of our board. I know that our board member shaves his balls while they are there. Not that he has anything to show off, from what I've been told, but he just doesn't give a fuck.
