The idea of putting a razor blade down there is scaring the shit out of me! So I keep myself hairfree with a plain little tweezer, one hair at a time on the cock and on the balls
Nooooooo! The pain-factor in plucking is too much if I try it on my eyebrows, so there is no way I am applying tweezers to my genitals. I'm glad it works for you, but .... noooooooooo!

I used to shave some of my pubes and did it manual. I just cut the hairs on my shaft because i want to keep my dick soft :p.

Agree with a manual shavers. If you're shaving the shaft itself, or your balls, do it when you're hard, but take care! If you're shaving the pubes above your cock, a hardon could get in the way... An alternative is Veet hair removal cream, but extreme caution advised if you have sensitive skin. Depends how bald you want to go!

I use "Magic" shaving powder. Mix with a little water and apply. Wash off 5 mins later and you are Clean! Don't leave it on too long as it can irritate the sensitive skin.

Magic can be found in most drug stores in the US anyway

Of course the eyebrows hurt when tweezed, quite a bit in fact. But on the cock and balls it does not hurt at all. You have not even tried it, so I absolve you for your opinion. It may change.

I need to be a lot less sober before I try it, that's for sure.

I have always used a manual razor to shave my ball sack and surrounding area. For the patch above my cock, I use my electric clippers with a #3 attachment - don't want it to look too bald. Trimmed is just fine!

Good question spicy! Yes, the itching the first couple of shaves can be quite irritation, to say the least. I have found though that it's the sweat that makes the irritation flare up. Remedies for this:

1. If using a manual razor, ALWAYS use shaving cream or lots of soap. Don't shave dry or even just with water.

2. Use talcum powder or baby powder on the area shaved after you get out of the shower. This will keep you from sweating during the day and keep the irritation from appearing.

3. Moisturize! You can do this with lotion either before you put on the powder or before you go to bed in the evenings. This will replace the moisture lost by shaving.

4. ALWAYS use a fresh razor blade each time you shave. You'll get a closer shave, and it's sterile. NEVER use a blade that's been sitting on the side of your shower or the same razor you use for your beard. Why? First of all, cuz it's just wrong. More importantly, a razor starts to build up bacteria as it sits unused in a moist environment. The last thing you want to do when trying to avoid irritation is give your skin a bunch of bacteria to get irritated about. :yuck:

With all that said, have fun!

I have a question: I shaved once but it was terrible when it started to grow back. Does this mean you shave completely like once a week or what?

thx!
When you start shaving a new body surface (however you do it) the skin "heals" after the hair is removed, and it can itch like hell when the new hair forces itself through the closed skin. But after a few times of this, what I guess happens is that the skin no longer "heals" so "well" - it "learns" that a hair will come soon again. Give it a few weeks of diminishing itch, and then you won't feel anything at all - just like in your face. If it itches too much in the beginning, scratch the skin gently with your nails or with a brush to help it open up for the pushing hairs.

Thinking of it, I suppose that this itching must occur also in the face when one starts shaving - that was so long ago I don't recall - anyone here young enough to remember.

Thinking more of it, has anyone started shaving a beard or moustache after letting it grow for a year or so? Did it itch when you started shaving again? If not, then one would think that the itching on one body surface only happens once in life. Interesting!

I've shaved my sac for as long as I can remember. I shave my head daily and my chest, stomach and pubes as the mood strikes me. Usually trimmed with electric trimmers in the winter and shaved smooth in the summer. I've found Gillette Mach3, while expensive, works the best. I've also found it to work best with CHEAP hair conditioner (Alberto V05 is only about $1 and lasts about a month or more). Some people think I'm nuts, but I've found it works much better than the shave gels and smoother than Nair. You can forget about waxing!!

As far as discomfort and itching, if you keep up with it the itching goes away. Your face doesn't itch, does it?? "Bikini Bare" works great for the little red bumps that may show up from irritated skin, too.

i usually start off by using my electric trimmer, then i go in and carefully shave with my Gilette M3, but without the vibration, that could be scary.....while at school i have to do it in the shower and the little seat in there is very usefull for sitting down and being very careful with the balls, just take your time and everything goes fine.

Electric razor?? Man! There's something about the thought of all those metal teeth down there buzzin away that scares the 'bejesus" outta ME. Don't want anything (or anyone) with metal teeth down there.

The first time u may need soap with a manual razor. Thereafter, a dry shave every day or so, just when u begin to feel the slightest stubble. Takes only 5 min. max.

I agree with you Carter...but I'm not sure if they have the same VEET over there in the US..I think its not quite the same .less plant extracts...or something.....but we have hair minimising moisturiser..in the UK.....which really helps...!...ask my last gf!!! she loves it...she said it makes the hairs softer after a few times....so worth trying!...mmm..if only I could put on that moisturiser for her!!
