I finished shaving my pubes for the first time last night, and now a rash has developed above my cock. Everywhere else is fine, it's just the bit above my cock that's affected. Ruins the effect somewhat. What can I do about it?
You used too much pressure in the area of the rash. Next time let the weight of the razor do the shaving.
I recommend copious amounts of Whitfield's Ointment. You should be able to find it OTC at your neighborhood drug store.
Go down strokes when shaving not up or sideways this will prevent razor burn or rash...Use plenty of shave cream also...Jose'Latinoboy9
Another - and cheap - over-the-counter medication is Desitin ointment. Even the store generic form will clear up a rash almost overnight.
It is extremely important when shaving your pubes that you go WITH the direction that the hair grows. I also suggest using a Woman's razor and a shaving cream that is made for sensitve skin and reduced razor burn (Edge or Gillette) as they are made for cleaning up sensitive areas. As Pecker said--let the razor do the work. Here is what I do. I shave weekly ass crack to pubes and have NEVER had any razor burn or irritation: 1. As LatinBoy said--go DOWN from your waistline to the top of your cock. 2. Lift up your cock--go DOWN until you get to the imaginary midline of you ball sac (a north-south midline, NOT east-west). 3. Lift up your balls and place your leg on the side of the tub (I shave in the shower). Start from the perineum and shave UP to the imaginary midline of your ballsac (where you stopped before when coming in the opposite direction. Maybe I should make an instructional video... ;-)
Try using a product called Tend Skin. It's in a blue bottle and you can find it at hair salons. It's a little pricey, but a little bit goes a long way and it works great!
