I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have yet to find a good answer anywhere. I love when I'm smooth but when I shave, even with moisturizing, I get lots of razor burn or ingrown hairs. I have tried Nair/Veet and it works but the hair grows back kind of fast. I personally haven't tried waxing yet.

Smooth guys on here, what is the best way you've found to be smooth and not have any issues with razor burn or other issues? You can attach pics if you wan't as well.

Thanks guys!

Hmmmm. This is how and why shaving is bad for you and isn’t “clean”. Step away from the razors and wax!!
Thank you for the advice! I read online that waxing can give ingrown hairs badly, has this been the case with you (assuming you're speaking from personal experience)?

God no I respect puberty, I don’t shave. My dad used to do martial arts and shaved his armpits, ended up with an ingrown hair and needed surgery. It’s so stupid!

Well my wife gets waxed every six weeks or so. She and i love the smooth look and feel. Shes never had an ingrown hair or any other problems. I myself shave because for some reason the one time i got waxed i had a mild reaction and got a slight rash. We guess it was the type of wax she used?

The key with waxing is that you have to exfoliate. I had to stop waxing my back because I broke out so badly one time I had to go to the doctor and get medicine. I’ve been going to a new salon lately and have had no problems. One thing I got is an exfoliating bar of soap. It’s made with some sort of micro crystals in it and I use it everywhere I get waxed once a week. No problems with any bumps or irritation.

I've found that shaving with a multi-blade razor without pressure in a hot shower works best for me.
