RPNFbyWIJ: is a razor necessary? couldn't one just go use some Nair or something?

fitdude: Not young but hung. Shave balls and crack periodically. Rest gets the short clipped treatment. ::)

ORCABOMBER: RPNF, well, I shouldn't be using the same razor I do for my face, but since I don't cut myself either way, I'm happy.

RPNFbyWIJ: I'll take your word for it.... but out of curiosity why would one never do it again?

dreamer: i love to have my balls shaved and smooth all the time, juist feels so good, have done all my pubes in the past but dont now cos i get funny looks in the showers!

i wouldnt suggest that u shave yr arse, most uncomfotable when it grows back, + it suddenly goes all slimey and sweaty, so the hairs there do serve a purpose!!

as for nair - i tried it once, out a dab on my balls waited about 5 mins then washed it off, thought there was no effect and forgot about it, now i have a patch where the hair never grows which is cool, but it also lost all the skin colour and is just a white patch!!! but it didnt hurt so i guess i was lucky

jccs: Its quite nice to be shaved by someone else, although you need to be sure they have a steady hand. I wouldnt trust somebody with a squint and a cut throat razor.

aproud1: As a triathlete, i started shaving legs, chest, arms, and eventually started to trim around my penis. I looked a little ridiculous all smooth, except for the jungle around my groin. I continue to keep it trim for my wife. All the women i have been with have all maintain well groomed pubic hairs, why not return the favor. Now, my wife doesnt spend half the time pulling hair out of her mouth, while giving me a bj.

felipe: I trim the pubic hair around my dick, but shave my balls...the first you do it, it itches as the hair regrows, but if you do it regularly, no problems. The sensation is good,, like silk. Better to suck.

canadaguy: I recently started shaving everything but I'm having problems getting a smooth shave. Can anyone who shaves everything fill me in on how they do it? (i.e. With the grain/against the grain; Do you use anything on the skin like moisturizers, etc?; etc..) Does this get it completely smooth? I just hate it not being smooth and getting hte shaving "bumps"

ORCABOMBER: Canadaguy, well I use a razorblade, take your time, I do it in the shower, smooth, gentle, be very patient, I don't soap up first, but that's me really.

canadaguy: ahh...I find I get a lot of cuts..especially going against the grain but that's the only way i've found to keep it smooth... what about shaving bumps? I seem to get a bunch of those red bumps..just doesn't look very good, do you get them? f so, how do you get rid of them?

ORCABOMBER: I'm not making out like I'm the expert or anything, altough if you're getting cuts I'd be real carefull, treat my dick like a temple or something! :D

Well, I don't go against the grain really, but if it works for you, but your skin types probably different to mine, I only get those kind of lumps on my legs (and I don't shave those!).

I think you need to lather really well, get the skin smooth as possbile, altough I'd avoid cosmetics in general ,afterhsave is NOT an option! ;)

Sorry I can't be more of a help, but I really think you should try going with the grain, it might not be so smooth, but at least get it down a bit and then go the other way.

meathose10: I've shaved before and like the little boy with a huge cock look. Also it feels good to slop it all up with oil and drop it down the leg of your jeans - you move around down there when you walk and t feels fucking hot. Not sure all that itching when it grows out is worth it , tho-

There are shaving gels designed for sensitive skin and for razor cut/burn protection. Shop around; you might find your brand. (I use Edge.)

This is what I've done on my face and I'm not quite sure how you feel about it for your dick: I use facial astringent and do a quick rub over the shaved area. Yes, it stings and burns a little, but no more than treating a wound with isopropyl alcohol -- plus it clears out, dries up, and tightens the pore. No red bumps.

markw: I've shaved balls & shaft for years. Do it once a week regular as clockwork. Trim the rest of the pubes short once a month with a beard trimmer (using #3 'profile' which leaves the hairs about 3mm long).

I occasionally shave it all completely (sometimes wax). Often do it in the summer to get a proper all over tan, but the looks in the gym put me off a bit. Although I'm a exhibitionist (so I like the attention!) I just get the feeling that a complete shave is viewed as a 'bit weird'...

Never had a problem with itching, etc provided I do it regularly.

Far prefer the look & feel of a smooth package.

SpeedoGuy: I shave the balls and shaft twice a week. I do it in the shower with standard disposable razor and soap lather. I decided to do it because I didn't like hair on the dong. Several gf's hinted it was unapealing to them during felatio and I didn't want to discourage that. LOL. Soon I started liking the feeling, anyway.

It itched a hell of a lot when I first started doing it but after a couple of weeks the itching faded away never to return.
