I am considering shaving or trimming my pubes - what is the general opinion on making down below a bit clearer?

Partly an idea from my wife - now its making me quite excited

Trimming is better then shaving still give a clean look without the nicks and cuts or razor bumps you may get from shaving use a pair of electric trimers your wife will love you for it plus who wants hair in their mouth when giving head and it will make your junk look bigger

I shave mine in part for hygene. I work in a gym and cycle several days a week and shaving is more comfortable.

How do you pervent razor bumps and what about nicks and cuts I shave mine too but not all the time I mostly trim

when I had my vasectomy I shaved (photo on this web site) - the worst part of that was the grow back phase - very prickly....

I just trim the top & shave it rest. Never had any problems with nics & cuts, nor razor bumps. I guess a quality moisturiser would help if you do.

I shave my balls and around the base of the shaft. I trim the rest, my stomach and chest too. My wife wouldn't have it any other way. I do moisturize everyday, after my shower, with the same moisturizer I use on my hands.

Razor shave, bare skin clean, your shaft. Period.
Just trim all else.

Shaving is best. Maybe trim real close for a few days then make it all disappear. Do it regularly for best results! If your wife is asking then she will LOVE IT!

use a new razor take off the moisture thing other wise your get razor cuts.


I now very rarely get razor cuts.

Ron-the best thing to use is tendskin...you can buy it at many retailers, amazon or bulk purchases at tendskin.com-it's great you rub it all over the shaved areas and no bumps

Razor bumps and in grown hairs is why I don't shave it all anymore. Clean shaft and one
Inch around the base. Then electric razor
Trim the rest

I have looked at your pictures - I like your results and think I will go in this direction.

Last night I had an initial trimming exercise, I will extend this to a shaving at the shaft.

OK - agreed that shaving the balls and shaft is great! A whole new (very nice) feeling! Trimmed pubes with shaved shaft + sack is the solution!

I love the increased sensitivity of being shaved and have shaved my cock, balls, anus and around my perineum for years. For that I use a dry razor and have never had any problems with bumps or itching. I also wet shave my chest, shoulders and upper arms and keep the rest of my body hair trimmed with a body trimmer.
