Most of the time blind items are entertainment at best and complete garbage at worst, but in hindsight that hot minute where he was ‘dating’ Sabrina turned out to be exactly what the cynics and gossip mills suggested… she needed a clout boost right before her new music dropped and tour started and he needed something to keep him from falling into obscurity so their shared Music Label encouraged them to hang out at the same events a few times and create some buzz, which they did.

Not saying anything about his sexuality or calling her a beard… but that was classic PR maneuvering.

Thank you for saying this! While I do believe Shawn could be somewhere in the queer spectrum, some famous people's knights everywhere (not only here in LPSG) have such binary brain that calling a relashionship PR is read immediate synonym of "bearding". Straight people (Shawn as well - as he presents himself) can and do PR stunts everyday. And as much as I like Sabrina, she and that obnoxious Disney singer are in Kardashian-Jenner level of PR stunts right now. Every cisgender male in the US is at risk of being called their partners.

You gotta be careful with your blind items source though, the Crazy Days and Nights is the one I read. They stated in april 20 Shawn and Camilla were back together because both needed hype for new music.

No one cared so there was no hype. He ended up releasing out of nowhere What The Hell Are We Dying For? in june 9 and promoted it using New York's orange sky, which was in very poor taste and desperate since the song has nothing to do with political messaging.

Camila on the other side shared a snippet of a new song on her IG called June Gloom in april 19, literally 4 days after they were "spotted" kissing at Coachella. This song has yet to be released. It's obvious they were testing the waters to see if people cared.

The original blind item is attached. Crazy Days and Nights ended up being right about a lot, like Demi's, Justin's and Cara's drug abuse waaay before anything was in the press.
