What happens if you just listen?
The music mysteriously seems louder..
I contemplate too much and turn on the radio.
The voices won't leave me alone...
You might just hear something.
I see dead people...
I can actually hear my heartbeat.
The tinnitus gets louder.
I hear a voice....
What? You want me to have sex with people??
If you listen: You are 80% less likely to have a misunderstanding. Conflicts are more likely to be resolved in an acceptible manner. Arguments are much less likely to escalate.
The din of iniquity seems louder.
My guinea pigs purr, or rumble around their cage. Phone rings, cars pass by.
If I'm alone, in the dark, at nighttime, any sound causes a flash across my eyes.
When I close my eyes and stay quiet, I hear drumbeats from a futuristic sonic landscape. It's beautiful there.:biggrin1:
That one is worth quoting. :biggrin1:
When I stop and listen... I hear cheering fans... John Madden's voice... and my son freaking out because the other team just scored a touchdown... (No, not a live football game... Madden '04 for PS2)
I hear the blood rushing through my veins.
