Shirt for the gym

What kind of shirt do you wear to the gym? I always wear a sleeveless shirt. Wish I could work out shirtless.
I have 3 I have made myself by starting with an old t, cutting of the sleeves, opening up the sides and the neckline, and trimming a little off the bottom.
This summer, I intend to keep reducing one until I am told not to wear it again.
Made my first reduction by narrowing back and wore it without comment.
Then opened sides a little more so that waistband of shorts is visible and cut neckline a little lower.
Will see what happens next time I wear it.

both of my gyms provide t-shirts and shorts to work out in - saves on laundry and sweaty bags... plus it cuts down on people coming in every day in an array of every disappearing fabrics ;)
Where are these gyms?
Are members required to wear these and not bring their own?
Do you wear your own underwear or go commando?
I would not like this because I always wear sleeveless shirts for more freedom of arm motion.

Usually just t shirts. I love the feel of my muscles trying to pop out of my shirt as my pump builds and builds. Plus I'm very self conscious of my body so showing it off is difficult.
Damn, dude....if I was built like you I'd never put any clothes on....f'ing hot body......

compression sleeveless, b/c i can't help but show off...would wear compression pants but seeing my cock on full display, pinned to my right quad is far too much stimulus..I'd be half swole by my second set

No problem with second reduction.
Gave me enough confidence to lower neckline on my other 2 homemade tanks and open the side to the waistband on the one that wasn't already there.
Next move is to reduce the back to a stringer on the one that has a plain back.

Usually wear a tank top for the chest and shoulder workouts. I love seeing my body all pumped up with the veins. Guess I'm as narcissic as the next gym dude haha

Lol yeah I don’t like showing it off at the gym- I see too many areas which need work
Strange but I see your point. On the contrary by wearing taks I can see better the weak areas become stronger. it's not really to show off to other people. When I hit the gym I get too hyped up to be in a seductive mode :)

Still no problems with the further reductions.
Haven't worn the one I reduced to a string back since I did so.
Waiting to see someone with a string back homemade or commercial at the gym.
There were several men who wore them at my old gym but haven't seen any here yet.

I took an old t-shirt, cut out the sides down to the waist, opened the neck, cut off the bottom hem and left enough in front to cover most of the chest, but only about a 3" strip in the back, Wore it to the gym twice with no complaints, so I took another old t shirt and did essentially the same, but only left a 1" strip on the bottom and sides. Will wear it next time and see what happens.

No problem with the minimal tank at the gym
