So, I've seen this happen a few times where someone will whine about a particular group where said group can't respond. It's happened recently in the past where a man has posted something stupid in the ask a woman section, then whined about women in the Ask a Man section for example. It is particularly gonadless to do so, try to communicate it directly to the group and if you can't handle the response, don't go there. Here's another bollockless example of this in the Ask a Straight Man section in a thread about whether gay men and straight men can be friends (obvious answer being yes as most people on the site have good friends from different sexual orientations), where a user depicts gay men as sexual predators:

No. No and NO. If they don’t get you drunk and rape you, they are looking for the opportunity to do just that.

I have already reported this post but felt that this needed to be answered publicly in a section open to ALL members. There are sexual predators in every segment of society and that goes without saying. But dragging up homophobic stereotyping painting gay men as sexual predators is both baseless and deeply offensive, and if you're going to come up with that kind of shite, you should at least have the bollocks to do so in a place where the group you're disparaging can respond. Of course, it isn't surprising that the holder of these views would be an old, straight, republican man (ticking practically every box on the privilege checklist).

That was indeed an idiotic comment you react on. I was going "Really?"
So I'd thought I'd risk a warning or ban and use my 10 % straightness to reply to the character in question.

If you're joking we could be friends.
I like a healthy dosis of sarcasm.
If you're not you're an idiot and I wouldn't buy you a drink to save my life, mate. Sorry. You're not getting laid with me.

Yes, somehow I think his delusions of sexual irresistibility are likely misplaced too. My mental image is a bitter, bigoted Ron Jeremy look alike who hasn't seen his own dick since the Reagan administration.

I'm wondering if it's either a genuine fear or a secret longing for the experience..

Yeah that's one thing about this site I don't like. I think it would be better if there was a way to just have the forum software filter the posts. For example, if a lady wants to respond in the ask a male section she could but her post would just be hidden and each person could have the option to click and view it if they want. But all posts by males would be shown by default. I agree that it isn't fair to not allow certain people to join the conversation when they are part of the subject.

I never understood why people come to LPSG and then act like dicks. Sigh, can’t we all just get along.

Yeah it's really weird. Especially some of the straight guys here with what I can only think are insecurity issues. They seemingly come on here just to let everyone know how straight they are and seem repulsed when asked personal questions. Uh, they're on an online community about penises. What did they expect? The funniest are the ones who claim they came here to talk to ladies. Except there are like a thousand better websites to meet and chat with women.

This is one of the oddities of LPSG is how closed minded some people are on this website.

And then of course, you also get some who complain about how many men there are on the site.

Yeah go figure. Dicks and males kind of come as a packaged deal.

It IS kind of a dick move (no pun intended) to post something inflammatory, libelous, or otherwise insulting to another in a forum where they can't rebut the statement.

Most of the time it seems to be certain dudes who are butthurt because some ladies called them out for acting like bell ends.

Update:

gozer073,

I'm sorry but you posted in an Ask A Section that you weren't allowed to post in. This section is reserved for people of that Gender or Sexuality. Only straight men and/or the OP can respond in the "Ask A Straight Man" forum. If you have any questions you can reach out to Mr. LPSG and discuss.

Thank you,

The LPSG Team

I feel SO fucking proud that This comment has been the first one to get me an official warning and a five-point penalty.

Yay.

Perhaps the rule could be altered just a little.

When talking about another gender or sexuality, posting in a forum should be open to said gender(s) and people of these sexualities.
What do you think @Mr. LPSG ?

Yeah I don't think the original intent of the different forums was to create a safe space to trash talk others and avoid any criticism.

Indeed it’s a chickenshit move to post something so inflammatory where the targeted group can’t rebut. The poster is taunting them, trolling, or even better hopes to gain supporters for his cause.

So far, when it comes to the guys who whine about the mean women, it seems to backfire. It’s the same few men who seem to hate us, and the rest seem to be supportive. Threads meant to attack us have recently been locked down.

Even this dumb post about gay men wanting to rape straight guys garnered no supporters. Gay men may not be allowed to post, but the straight men see the truth. It’s a ridiculous statement. And that poster is going to get a warning. More than 5 points would be my guess. That post is going to backfire.

Guys who do as you've exampled here are simply cowardly homophobes. Straight men do NOT post anything remotely similar to what dude you quoted did; only "straight" guys who are struggling internally with their own sexuality do that shit. I don't understand why that must somehow make them feel more secure about their insecurity. But hey, I'm not the one struggling with my sexuality. :p

But you see it happen. Frequently. IF you are not into dudes and dick, you ain't thinking about posting shit about gay anything. Straight guys don't do that because they're too busy thinking about women and pussy. And if they are on LPSG, they are posting about just that. Oh and maybe about how their dick stacks up against other guys dicks. You know, competition and all that stuff.

But they don't give a rats ass about what guys into guys do. Don't. Care. Period.

As one of my straight friends I've known 25 years has said, "Good for them. Less competition for me"
