Shock doctor jockstraps

I've been thinking of picking up a ShockDoctor Core jock without the cup pocket, but there's a decent number of complaints in here about the waistband - what makes them so bad?

The mfgr is the same as McDavid and I consider them the best on the market right now.

The manufacturer is not the same as McDavid, both companies have been purchased by the same investment company. as of now the jocks are still made in their own unique factory from each other. That may not hold true forever.

I only prefer shockjock with cup. Pouch only does not work for me...but it does on all other basic brands, Duke, Bike, etc

I have one and cannot stand it....I much prefer my 2xist and Andrew Christian...the shock doctor makes my cock feel like it's in a tight prison cell....no room in the pouch at all.

Finally picked up one style 216 without the cup pocket. Wore it to the gym today for the first time. Have to say I like this jock. The waist band is a little snug but that’s to be expected. I bought a medium 32-34 waist. Right now I’m closer to a 36 waist. The leg straps fit perfectly. Didn’t move or roll one bit. The pouch is good fits well. The pouch feels more like a brief since it’s fabric and not elastic like a bike jockstrap. But all in all it’s a good jockstrap. I do like it.

I agree. I do like my shock doctor jockstrap. But I'm really liking my new gym jockstraps too. They fit nicely. I got the two inch waistband really like it.
