OMG, now I need that pair of Christian Louboutin knee boots. If I start saving now, I might be able to afford them in.........5 years or so? lol
It's kinda mean that such beautiful shoes/boots are too expensive for most people.....:frown1:

I love those because the cuff can go up or all the way down. In the pictures there it's not completely folded down as far as it can go. I love Zappos because they do cute videos for most of the shoes and it really helps to pick what you want. Plus they have pictures for every possible angle of the shoes.

I wrote my personal feeling about shoes in another thread. This sums it up for me.

Perfect shoes...Let me see if I can state this briefly.
Shoes are totems of Disembodied Lust. They are candy for the eyes, poetry for the feet and the icing for your soul. They stand for everything you have ever wanted: glamour, success, a rapierlike wit, a date with the Sex God (ess) of your choice. Shoes hint that attaining these things are as easy as slipping them on your feet. They have a magic power to make you into something else.
People who understand shoes know all of this. They know that a life without the perfect footwear is a dull, shoddy expanse of gray days and fitful, sleepless nights. They know that the perfect shoes will give them the strength they need in life to go out and do what needs to be done.

A happy life is the quest and attainment of the perfects shoes!

Ahh...umm..no. Sorry, I didn't read that but I wish I had. A very nicely put explanation as to why you love shoes! I myself have several pairs of shoes but you have taught me that I am not one who truly understands shoes. For me the shoe is something to be worn and admired - for comfort, beauty and practicality. You say that, "A happy life is the quest and attainment of the perfect shoes!" To me though, I have already found the perfect shoes several times. The quest has ended! I need only look after the ones I have and I'm happy. I feel content but realise now that a shoe-lover can't stop. They must continue to strive forward into those shops, march down those highstreets and hope to find another gem for their collection! Only then - is life complete.

God, I felt like Don Quixote writing that! Thank you nudeyorker, or should I call you 'the bard' for your poetic verse! :biggrin1:

Fleur & Pandora, I'm with you!!! We need to start our own forum, but I just went to shoeporn.com. Don't go there. OMG.

And MsThang, don't get me started on dresses because I'll never get off of here!

Our master closet has at 10 foot ceiling, and my sweetie built me a floor to ceiling shoe rack. But it took up some of my closet space, so I asked him if he would mine using one of the guest room closets for his - HIS - overflow clothes. HE DID! He loves me!!! LOL!

With all of that extra room, well, it wouldn't be right if I didn't at least try to fill it up!

Oh, I had no extra room for shoes. They kind of took all that space and more.

Oh, and while we're at it, why do men get upset because we like to keep our shoes in the original shoeboxes? When Cap was drawing up the plans he just had space for the shoes. I told him I needed space for the whole box. He looked truly flabbergasted. What's up with that?

Ok, time to resurrect this old thread, since we still don't have our shoe addict group :biggrin1:
The new fall/winter collections are now on sale, so feel free to post any new hot shoes that you just bought for winter- or summer or any other time of the year.
I just bought 3 new pairs of shoes, waiting on 2 more pairs to be delivered (they were out of stock- that's hot how they are :wink: ) and am gonna get at least 2 or 3 or 4 more.
