Shorts with mesh underwear lining

The mesh shorts are intended for beach and swimming ....so they can get wet but dry out quickly ......instead if wearing underwear .

The mesh type are not really intended for gym

Whoever heard of wearing underwear under shorts - with or without a liner.
Incidentally, I have come across plenty of examples of dress shorts with liners and these were certainly intended for neither swimming nor underwear.
