Well, Mem, it goes this way- if you are sick to your stomach, losing sleep and anxious all the time then maybe leaving the job is an answer. However, why quit just yet? According to your own admission, you need to give two months notice before leaving your apartment so stay with the job another month to a month-and-a-half to accumulate more financial security.
As to the Florida move- I can see the allure of the warmer climate at this time of year; but what about in the hottest part of summer? How are you with hot and humid?
Now, moving on to the finances you have and the fact that you could laze around in Florida for a year without working- why risk it? Go there and get a job. Better yet, see if you can get a job before you move there. Similar to having an apartment or living arrangements prior to moving, it is always a good idea to try to have a work situation lined up, that way you can keep your savings safe for the future.
