Let me first of all say that I have enjoyed this site for several years and believe there is a lot of value in it. It has provided a safe and free space to discuss sexuality, gender, eroticism, pornography, sexual education and much more. Long before these subject matters became acceptable or even mainstream.
I especially appreciate how it is structured to promote the exchange of opinions across groups which generally struggle to communicate - I am thinking of the intra-generational conversation, for example; or the incommunicability across the sexuality spectrum,
However I question whether "Large Penis Support Group" is still current as a name. Whilst I am sure it still offers the support it says it provides; do we really think that the "large penis" agenda is still worthy to be the center piece of this endeavour ?
Isn't it rather discriminatory when it comes, for example, to gender or ethnicity ? And doesn't it risk to perpetuate a patriarchal society with, at its centre, the frankly rather undeserving "alpha male" ?
Finally, talking about sexuality - as much as I myself have a big penis, am attracted to big penises and do believe that a big penis can give pleasure; shouldn't we recognise that very often in society, in porn, in many of LPSG forum postings, a focus on the big penis is more often than not associated to immaturity, low self-esteem, lack of respect, need to control. Or even potentially correlated to violence or sadism ?
