Or ar least you shuld have to get the person being singled out's permission via PM before posting it.

No they shouldn't be banned, while I don't like them I believe the person making them has the same right (within reason) as anyone on the net should to say what they want.

Everyone should have to get MY permission before posting ANY poll. But that's in an ideal world. The real world "don't work that way."

Also, anyone who posts a thread title so long that I have to edit it before I can reply should have to pay a fine.

I understand your viewpoint. I just don't like the idea of a poll or a thread singling a specific person out with the intention of hurting them or making them feel bad. When you put yourself in other people's shoes you see how they fit.

When I first came back here I saw a post saying "put my poll back". (I forget who it was, but I got along with them at the time)
I think it depends how far you take it. To single someone out is okay. I think that polling to get someone banned in not allowed here.
Anyway a poll to ban someone does not mean that they will be banned.

Didn't someone just tell you about that? It is an expression to be used with discretion...

Actually, though "Bless your heart" can be meant sincerely, as well. I think the difference comes in the vocal inflections and we all know you have to hear those. So use with discretion. Like too much salt or sugar, it loses its savor with overuse.

It's just a few words put together. It ends baiting very well.

I think the person should take it as a blessing even if it is not meant as one.

Imagine if "Well, Bless Your Heart" gets banned.

Sorry, Naughty, I was just being naughty myself...you know I like to have fun here.

If you look at it objectively, isn't it Baiting/Trolling?
