Someone needs to let the "angry one" know that as long as other people quote him that I'll be able to see what he says even though I have him on ignore. In other news, my view is that there are very dangerous elements in Islam right now, and the religion is undergoing a kind of civil war.
It's hard to know what proportion of believers are extremists.
Some observers used to suggest that 10 percent had extremist sympathies (which, obviously, is not the same as saying they would ever act out violently themselves ... that violent group always was an infinitely smaller subset).
Was that 10 percent figure ever valid? I have no idea.
But polls have shown that Muslims around the world find violence in the name of their religion more and more unacceptable and in fact unIslamic.

I understand Nick's gay post. But does western society really accept gays? To a degree. Plus, Im not really gay. Your post was in real bad taste. As a result of the moderator discussions, I have been asked to make a rather frank post to explain why this thread was closed...
As a team we want you to know that this closure was the result of one members actions within the thread not only rendering it useless with regard to the original topic, but also turning it into what we believe is nothing short of an attempt to bait others into crossing the line, earning them sanctions while allowing him to play the innocent bystander peddling his hate under the guise of doing good.
Having read the recent entries to this thread it is our understanding that nicky9x6 has deliberately misunderstood and misrepresented the words of others repeatedly throughout the last few pages, twisting their words to be something better fitting for his agenda.
While we welcome differing views, we will not tolerate what can only be described as school yard bullying, be it to form a platform to guard ones own opinion from being questioned or as an attempt to bait others in the hopes that they themselves are removed from the forum.
