Personally I think Karen was the funniest on the show. Jack was just irritating sometimes and his funny moments were few and far between, he always seemed to be trying way too hard.

The only time he really shined was his interactions with Karen. I loved when she joked about her alcoholism, her narcissism, and the time she was patronizing those lesbians in the Neil Patrick Harris episode.

Anyhow, here's a funny clip when that Sandra Lesbo chick was on there and they sang "Midnight Train to Georgia."

Yes, I love karen! I love the whole show, and used to have a HUGE crush on Will until I found out via mad tv that he really wasn't gay, now I don't like him anymore  But yeah, Karen was the fucking bomb!

Karen was the shit. Nearly everything that came out of her mouth was hilarious. I think one of my favorite episodes was when Grace found out that she did a porno. But the essence of the show was Will and Grace. Too much of Karen and i'm sure she'd become irritating.

and wow, i just saw that Midnight Train episode this week on Lifetime. I usually watch Will and Grace on Lifetime on weekdays. It's nice to have on when i'm working. It makes it easier.

and Jack was never really annoying to me. go figure. Plus, i love his distaste in lesbians. It's so stupid. haha..

Karen and Jack made the show what it was.

Having said that, I don't think their stories were ever strong enough to be "front line" material. They were better with the minor stories, where they could make random comments and chuckle on the sidelines.

Every good shows needs a comic sidekick.

Every Ricky and Lucy needs a Fred and Ethel.

I personally thought Karen was the funniest character. The show would have tanked without her. Not too sure about Jack but Will and Grace could probably been played by different actors and still be a successful show. Kinda like when they switched Darins on Bewitched without a blip in the Nielson ratings.

The writing for Karen was at its most intelligent between seasons 1-4; from season 5, as with the other 3 characters, it all got comparatively more random.

I think Grace as a character is underestimated, because her character traits were hilarious when they played out during episodes.

Karen and Grace provided the most genunine laugh-out-loud moments of the show, and for me on ANY comedy!

Will was too normal of a character; if we put all 4 of them in a scenario, and were asked to predict what the characters were thinking, it'd be far easier to do it for the other 3.
