Should your dick be covered when tanning?

Does anybody know if its unsafe to tan with your dick hanging out and uncovered? Ive tanned twice before and both times i covered it. I was just wondering if it is safe to let it tan with the rest of the body.

There were four guys in my senior class from highschool years ago, in the summer between their junior and senior year, went on a raft trip on a river in Idaho. i go to nude beach ur dic will tan just like any other portion of ur body, dont overdo it though to much sun can cause skin problems. use sunbock when u first start so as not to get too much at one time...

I don't know about tanning beds, but when I go to nude beaches I put sunscreen on my dick and have never had a problem. But yeah...I'd feel a bit iffy in a tanning bed...

It's the same as the rest of your body. It will tan easily enough, but will burn if you overdo it. Take it easy and build up the tan and you should have no problems.

I dont cover up in the tanning bed....and let me tell you...i tend to get a really dark tan on my dick...it seems like it tans more there than anywhere else. Makes it look like I have a nice big ol latin dick! lol

I tan in an upright booth, and never wear anything. However I do ensure that I always use tanning lotion, and if I sense that my cock is getting a bit to many UV rays, I just cover it with my hand for a few minutes. Otherwise, I've never had any problems.

Your dick will tan (or burn) just like any other body part. Use the appropriate SPF lotion and you'll have no problem.

If you are circumcised you should cover it. The head was never intended to be exposed to the sun. Studies show that men who are circumcised and tan have a high rate of penile cancer on the glans.
