I have to agree the FTL/Hanes aren't very soft. I'm not sure what brand these are. I got them free on Frundies.com but they are super soft.The only other briefs I wear are jockey.

I used to wear Calvin Klein & 2Xist all of the time. Truth be told, I do miss the 2xist. I may need to revisit.

Have been thinking of ditching the Good ol trunks for more traditional briefs or low rise briefs.

Reason being to show off my package some more.. make it more visible

Figure if I wear it to the left or right in the briefs it will make the shape visible thru my pants.

Moving around with trunks makes it fall down and face downwards where it's not really visible at all...

Are the days of the brief coming back?

I'm afraid boxer-briefs ARE the preferred choice at the moment, but things can change. Go get a pair of white, gray, or black 2xist or similar briefs that show off your cock and balls. Wear them every day, and take your time changing at the gym. Stand around in briefs a lot whenever you can.
I dislike boxer-briefs and trunks because the material around my thighs is annoying. While I grew up with thightywhiteys and all (and I mean ALL) the guys in hs and most in college wore Jockey white briefs, and while I have a fondness for them and think even the kind of clumsy-looking ones are kinda hot, I suggest you go with something a little sleeker that has a good pouch. I have three pairs of Levi's briefs tho' I can't recall where I got them. Maybe Amazon. They're way cool but hard to find.
