I have not shown my face. I would like to, but I wonder if it may come back to haunt me. How do all of you feel about showing your face? What risks do you think may or may not exist? This is my first thread, be easy on me. Have a look at my page if you would like. I show everything but my face.

Thanks, I just fell like I might see one of my images being used to promote a porn site or something. I am an artist and can tell you that a ton of people use images comercialy without autherization.

I don't show my face because of my job. I just work in a position where even viewing this site would probably result in my being dismissed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the old line, "Well if 'they' see you here, then 'they' are just as much at fault", but that's not always how things play out in real life. 'They' could always counter that they had an anonymous source, etc. Whatever argument that I could come up with, it would be irrelevant after I'd been fired. It's also a field where once you're labeled in any way, even if it's later disproved, you're still stuck with that label. So, even though I have met some people from here in person, I typically keep most of my information rather private.

That is a good arguement. I am an artist and graphic designer and we tend to be a bit excentric any way so it would most likely no be that way for me. I can see it happening with a corporation though.

Nawh, porn sites want still a picture of a face they can't do shit with that. Now full body nude pics, yesss  Don't be so worried, i'm sure you've posted pics. on myspace or facebook or something, if a porn site wanted a pic of your sexy face they would just steal it from there.

Kewl, I am also an artist!

I used to have my cock as my pic but changed to face only. I was quite worried about people finding out that I was some weirdo who go reads up on a forum about penis. Eventually I thought to myself why am I limiting myself on what others think. They believe what they want to believe in.

The employer scenario is the only thing that will hold me back in the future. Once they find out, their attitudes about you change unless they are also a LPSG member :p. I doubt my family members can get me for coming here because I can apply the, "you're looking too concept."

Aside from that, what people do in their private lives is their business.

I don't have any problem showing full nude pictures of myself! I'm proud of my body, proud of the way I look and proud to be gay? Why on earth would I want to hide??? If I didn't feel I should be showing my face, I obviously wouldn't post pictures here!!!

My rule is to either show my dick, or show my face. Never both. I showed dick for three years, now I just show face...and bulge. haha

you can show your face, but as novice_btm said, you take a risk on doing that.
even though the site has improved his security, not allowing non members to see the posted or gallery pics, you always have the choice not showing your face.
I did, and don't regret it. but I guess I'm not, and don't have such important job|position as other more 'famous' members here HAVE.

I am not sure what consequences it would have for my professional life if I showed my face here and it were seen by colleagues or superiors, but I am not about to take the risk. I am concerned about younger people who assume that showing their faces here won't have any bad consequences for them: they don't know what turns their lives may take later on; and it is not safe to assume that removing your photos from this site will prevent their turning up elsewhere.
