    What... Really? Not fungi? They look very like some stuff growing on old tree stumps in my garden. In that case, are they on rock?

    I also think that your rainbow lorikeets are resplendent. And I like your water lily, too. :)

    Oh...DOH..the fungi...*face palm* I thought you were talking about the cockatoo.

    Yes, the fungi was growing on a massive rotting stump in the middle of the rain forest.

    I just loved their velvet texture against the roughness of the stump and the emerald green of the leaves.

    Great pictures - thanks for sharing! The beach pictures make me want to travel to a rocky coast where it is not completely flat like ours.

    I'm a bit of a perfectionist and there were a lot of shots I deleted that just didn't make the grade.
