Nils Asther, Swedish actor active in Hollywood from 1926 to the mid-1950s, known for his handsome features and often called "the male Greta Garbo". Between 1916 and 1963 he appeared in over 70 feature films, 16 of which were produced in the silent era and two of which he made with his fellow Swede, Greta Garbo.

Thomas Harper Ince. American silent film producer, director, screenwriter, and actor. Had a great-aunt who worked for him for some time, said he was very handsome and charming.

Johnny Mack Brown, King Vidor and William S. Hart on the set of Vidor's Billy the Kid, 1930. Hart was rumored to be very well endowed but also deeply closeted while Brown, also reportedly well endowed, was quite the ladies man.

Thomas H. Ince, Charlie Chaplin, Mack Sennett and D. W. Griffth, c 1916. Both Ince and Chaplin were rumored to be very well endowed, with Chaplin in particular supposedly almost freakishly so, as well as womanizers.

I'm not complaining or making fun; I'm glad this is here.

But I still think it's hilarious that there's a thread this long where we're discussing Douglas Fairbanks Jr and Harold Lloyd, while there are handful of current, working models, pornstars, and actors who still haven't shown up anywhere in any threads.

Again, just an observation - don't mistake my saying that as some kind of complaint or take-down. It's just an interesting and funny thing. Cuz life is just like that sometimes.

No offense taken. Just like any other thread, people post who or what interests them and, in my case, I've also enjoyed silent-era and other early actors since there were quite a number of lookers - most largely forgotten by the general public however - as well as being interested from having some family members who worked in/with studios from far back.
