Well I think it's mainly because of the angle the photographer is taken..from those I've seen from him and fan accounts his photos are mostly clicked from head up which makes the upper body large and distort the body proportions....or it could also be big head but i don't think his head is big vis a vis body proportion...My final verdict is angle..but i may be wrong.

Also his legs are proportionally shorter to his whole body, and for some reason he often takes photos from a pretty unflattering angle (top-down).

Yes you can see it from the railing his photo is taken top down, that's why his head looks big. Most photos on Instagram etc today are taken from bottom up which makes the head small and the lower body hella big it looks funny...and the medium approach in bottom up photos usually looks good and makes the model look nice.
