I sit sometimes. Mostly when I'm feeling lazy or tired at home. For example late at night or early in the morning when I can't be arsed to aim or clean up a potential mess. Or if I know I've been holding a huge load knowing it'll take a while.

The best times to sit for me is when I've been cold outside, and I've held it in for a really long time. I'm uncut the foreskin can be a bother with the major shrinkage - meaning I would have to pull back further than normal, and if I fail to, a mess occurs.

I never sit in a public toilet just to piss... I rarely piss in a stall when urinals are available.

Men sitting when they piss makes sense to me. Primarily it's a cleanliness issue, to keep the toilet area sanitary. I always sit, pissing or pooping. Standing while pissing results in side-spray that goes on the rim of the toilet or on the floor around it. With young children around, they touch the toilet rim or their toys get left on the floor around the toilet, and that is really unhealthy. Grandchildren do the same and are vulnerable.

Uncut cocks seem to splatter the most but cut cocks (which mine is) are also at fault when standing. For those of us really well endowed its also prudent to sit back as far as possible on the toilet seat to prevent our cock from dipping into the water.

Whenever possible I sit, my PA causes unpredictable spray patterns so to avoid splashing my jeans I sit.
