Like most of our traits it will be both. Genetic and depending on your life. Height, intelligence, happiness and a lot of other traits are also to be show to be influenced by several factors. The question is what percentage of a certain trait is influenced by genetics.

It definitely has some basis in genetics, but its not complete genetics.

I mean it depends on diet, hormone levels, etc. especially prior to and during puberty, though these remain important after to ensure that the size obtained is maintained.

Other factors that are less proven could also affect penis size, such as circumcision status, and type of underwear/sports gear worn (like wearing tighty whities or tight speedos often could possibly affect size though there really is no solid evidence towards this...

I don't think it's ALL genetics. I am 7.5x6.5 uncut, which is larger than my two brothers, step-brother, and my dad. I don't know where my size came from, it's a mystery, but it's one mystery I don't need an answer for.

1st and foremost: genetics
You must have the genetic pre-disposition to have a large cock

2nd: Environment
In order to achieve what your genetics have laid out for you, you must have the correct environmental stimulus to achieve that "pinnacle of self". Diet, Hormones, immune system, and so forth.

Indeed. The same thing applies to height, etc. But they are linked.

I vote for genetics.
As a twin, my brother and I were born of the same pregnancy, fed the same things, and raised side by side.
And even so, my brother was an inch and a half taller, an inch and a half bigger dick, and a bigger shoe size.

Though I have only seen one of my relatives erect - my brother when we were teenagers - I can say that all of the men that I have seen on either side of my family have large flaccid penises. My grandfather in particular had an enormous flaccid penis. I think there is something to the "family jewels" concept.

Yes, they have a direct relationship. It runs in my family. Although, not everyone will be the same, obviously.

I hope this question isn't to silly lol could it not be that your twin just took the better genes and it was just as possible for you to have been the taller/bigger twin?

Depending on whether the twins are identical or fraternal, there can be a difference. Fraternal twins share as much genetically as regular siblings but there is a control for environmetnal factors in that they experience the same things at the same time including being in eutero together. If identical then they share the exact same genes so an environmental factor must be the reason. In either case, it is possible for one twin to "take" more of the resources while they are developing and later in life this results as a larger person overall. The concept of stealing genes doesn't really relect the options of what can happen genetically. Expect for mutation genes are set at conception. That being said environmetnal factors can change which genes are expressed so the phenotypical result would be different. Hope this helps answer your question :) I am also a twin so have done some research on the subject.

Do you think penis is size (length, girth, shape, etc..) is genetic...

If so or if not, give examples.

Sure it's genetic! I can prove it. When a woman desires to have a child they always look for a big dick guy, and thus the big dick characteristic is passed on to the offsprings. This is why we see so many 10 inch dicks on the internet and this website.:biglaugh: Gosh, I thought everybody knew this. lol

I think it is genetic. I am not that big, only 7X5.5, and I've seen my dad naked on accident once and he wasn't big. On the flipside, on my moms side of the family my uncles apparently are, as well as my cousin. I got the short end of the stick :/ (No Pun Intended)

It's all genetic. My father, brother, oldest son, and I all had the same penis. Totally average. My younger son got his mother's father's penis, which should be a registered weapon. He's got two cousins, related through his mother. One has his father's average penis, the other has the weapon. Of the giant father in law's two sons, one has an average one, and the other has the club.

Genetics has to play a role, but it's not hard science. I look at more like family traits. I think dick size has a lot to do with ancestry. Cultures who have in the past seemed to have had more selection for larger penises either by a very sexualized society or through general nakedness in their culture seem to have them today... Italian (ancients Romans were always swinging it around), Africans (living to a large extent naked amongst each other) Greeks (kind of the same thing as the Romans). East Indians seem to have large penises and a robust sexual past culture. I know there are no hard and fast rules... plus, add in that we are all becoming so mixed up genetically, makes it kind of hard to predict. But still, I think there's something there. In the opposite also... Asians seem to have a culture of much more modesty (highly sexual at times, but more private) and following my logic (if there is any), generally smaller penises.
I come from a combined family and one half of my brothers are completely testosterone ridden and have larger dicks. Unfortunately, I'm from the other side. many Europeans comes from roving Huns who were a pretty randy group, so I think they pasted their fat cocks on to their German ancestors. I think there's some strong evidence that could be plotted out more specifically through some anthropology studies.
