recently I saw something on german TV about that question: nowadays teenagers have access to porn more easily than they used to in the 60s, 70s, 80s and they compare themselves with what they see. a lot of them are really embarassed and shy because they (think they) are smaller than the once they see in porn. also they found out, that less young guys get nude at the beaches (which used to be very common in germany) and also prefer wearing bathing trunks (to hide size) instead of speedos.

so the progress of easily available big cock pics seem to make it a bigger issue than it was before.

no one should feel bad about his size - so be nice to the smaller once, you big dicked guys (and encourage them to undress as well)

When I was reading some plays from ancient greece, one of them had someone in there bragging about his nine inch. I think it was eclesiazusae (almost certainly spelled that wrong).

It's always been nice to have a bigger dick, and the guy with the bigger dick was always noticed. I was in junior high in the 70's, and Jimmy Wilson was hung like a horse and all the guys knew it. He was a nerd otherwise, but nobody gave him shit cause he was bigger than all of us--at least from what we saw in the locker room. But the other guys, of all sizes, seemed less worried that they didn't measure up. There were some who hid behind the towel and all, but we all got naked cause we had to.

Now, I was in a gym class at a small school, so I was showering next to seniors when I was in seventh and eighth grade. That could cause a guy to get a complex for sure, but I never had issues either way.

I think more info about big dicks from the Internet and movies and ads for Enzyte, and less REAL data about the dick on the guy sitting next to you in Algebra class has caused a whole generation to grow up worried they were not measuring up. I know my son, who's always known it was okay to be around other men nude in locker rooms and such, felt perfectly comfortable in those situations once college got here for him. From being in locker rooms with him when he was in high school and college, I know he's not overly hung (I'm bigger flaccid), but he was confident and well-informed enough to know that soft size doesn't equal hard size.

When you think about it, probably a main reason why there is much less male nudity and male acceptance of being semi nude in public is that basically everything has a camera built into it now, from mobile phones to lap tops to digital cameras so small they look like a matchbox, so anyone at anytime can snap a picture of you in your naked glory and post it on the net for all to see.
