Really?

I didn't know that.

Just to throw this out there...but could it be that:

A. A member here does have 10 inches or more, but just chooses not to broadcast it or flaunt it

Or

B. Somebody out there in the US has 10 inches, but again decides to keep it to himself and doesn't know about this forum or does know about this forum and would rather avoid the attention

Only 15% of men have a penis longer than 7 inches when erect.Only 3% of men are bigger than 8 inches when erect.Only one man in 10,000 has a 10-inch erection....

And yes, I agree with you. When I was at my skinniest, that just let more internal penis to show on the outside.

Dr. Oz is full of shit. For however many men that statistically should be in double digits, you'd think they'd have been found on LPSG by now.

Back to the weight/dick size issue. If I lost a bunch of weight, I might look 2" larger. Over the years a few guys here have posted their 0% body fat pics and showed a nub of a dick. No thanks. If I were that skinny and had that small of a dick, I'd give up.

Getting back on topic. I suspect it's mostly that thinner guys look bigger due to less fat pad, remember the average fatpad is about 1" and the average american is borderline overweight.

Secondly however, I do recall reading something about higher T levels during puberty resulting in being slithgtly taller/ larger penis/ more musucular as an adult, but I question that exercise would increase T levels in teens, there's only been studies on it in adults.

Also, even if it does exist, it's likely the effect is very slight, otherwise it would be widely known already if working out as a teen guaranteed you 8. And we'd never have an obesity problem :D

I actually do have a little bit of education or training on experiment research and design and conducting surveys and figuring sample size.

I also like statistics, hence my screenname "within one standard deviation".

So I really do like the bell shaped normal curve.

Could you tell me if there is a particular study you are looking at that says the average erect penis size is X and the standard deviation is ________?

It would be like McDonalds mailing out a survey to say all 300 million Americans to ask what they liked about Mickey Dees.without some incentive....very few completed surveys would actually be returned or mailed back in. So the data that McD's HQ gets is going to be skewed.

For the most part, most experiments are based on random sampling of the whole population. This website is far from a random sample.

What's the solution?

To lose adipose tissue while building or preserving as much lean tissue as possible.

Weight loss is extremely difficult and requires getting around the body's natural abilities of energy storage.

Obesity is a bacterial infection of the gut plain and simple. You can take the gut bacteria of a skinny mouse and implant it in an obese mouse... and watch the obese mouse become skinny over a few weeks and vice versa.

Weight loss isn't counting calories or burning calories, that's not how our bodies work.

Allow me to blow your mind a bit...

BACTERIA consume 80% of the calories that we eat. Out of the 20% that are left, the brain and gonads get the lion's share of that. What ever small amount of calories that are left over are used for building blocks. In turn, the bacteria provide us with synthesized short and medium chain fatty acids, amino acids, nutrients and chemical compounds vital to our survival.

EVERYTHING you knew about nutrition was false and a joke. We don't stoke a furnace with heat in the form of calories, we feed colonies of gut bacteria (that outnumber our human cells 1000 to 1) that in turn, provide us with life sustaining sustenance.

Some bacterial colonies are not so helpful and are the cause of disease and ill health... in fact, when our gut bacterial colonies are populated with "good" and beneficial bacteria, we are in GOOD health. When colonies of "bad" bacteria infest our guts, we experience ill health. 3). Eat fiber. Fiber is one of the preferred foods of the "good" bacteria.

4). Avoid sugar because sugar is one of the preferred foods of the "bad" bacteria. We get fat eating sugar by feeding the "bad" bacteria who increase their colony numbers until they infest the gut.

5). Fat is your friend. ALL fat is your friend, there are no good fats or bad fats... they are ALL good. Obviously trans fats are an unhealthy but stable form of lipid molecules that should be avoided but outside of trans fats, most fats are REALLY good for us.

Speaking as a guy who is very lean & thin & has a huge penis (check my profile if you wanna see what I'm talking about), I don't think I did anything to affect my penis size. It just ended up growing very large. I think society has general view points about body types, like average height & weight should have an average penis. Tall guys, big feet, etc. has cache as a stereotype. When you're as lean as me people don't expect my cock to be so big, so when they see it, it creates even more of a freak of nature effect. Since, being fit & lean is fashionable & desirable & having a huge dick is considered to be really cool for lack of a better term that's what porn portrays to a degree. I try to stay in shape & eat as healthy as I can, I'm just really slender & have a very large penis, it's just nature.

I agree with some of your points, but there are also "fat men" who are also muscular. That is, they have a gut, but they are still very much in shape. You see this a lot with ex-athletes. I'm straight , so I've only seen men's penises in the flaccid state--in locker room situations, and I've seen fat men with long , fat penises and "skinny" men with relatively thin, short penises. I don't know how this all shakes out in the erect state, but I will agree that any size penis will look bigger on a thin man that a overweight man--as a general rule. More so if the man is not very tall.
The most massive penis I ever saw belonged to a short guy ( about 5' 5") of normal build. Even allowing for this height differential, it was 6 inches long (flaccid) and quite thick.

I agree that more fat causes a higher ratio of estrogen, and such less fat must cause a higher ratio of testosterone. But testosterone and estrogen don't cause bodily effects on their own. They need the specific androgen receptors scattered throughout the body to take effect. One cannot grow new androgen receptors, they are geneticly dispersed throughout the body. So if a guy has more testosterone receptors in his dick, it's more likely that the testosterone will help the penis grow. But if he has less there but more in his muscles, it would probably make the man more muscular, yet less endowed. There have been studies that show that giving a guy more testosterone won't grow his penis any more than it would with a normal amount of testosterone,though it would help a guy with low T. There are actually boys who are born without testosterone receptors who appear to be women, yet they have xy chromosomes. So this testosterone debate is only one part of the equation, as the androgen receptors are needed to express the testosterone in the body.
