Skinny Dip

So went out partying with friends and was spending night at buddies place as I was too drunk to drive
When we got to his place he suggested we go in the hot tub
I told him I didn’t have a swim suit and he said we‘ll just go naked
We’ve been friends a long time and seen each other naked so it was no big deal
We chilled naked in the hot tub and had a few drinks and chilled ( nothing sexual )
I found it very liberating and a cool bonding experience. I didn’t find it weird at all
Anybody else have a similar experience?

Well, I am not a drinker. I certainly would not be drinking to an excess, if I knew I needed to drive myself back home. I do not like hot or communal tubs. with the exception of a pool.

General safety : you should not stay in a hot tum more than 20-30 minutes ( check the internet warnings ),
If you are already tipsy, the alcohol will react faster in the blood stream . sooo drinking even more in the tub, while already being tipsy may lead to future accidental drowning

Never found male on male nudity liberating / Never found or thought of it as a bonding ritual.
If you want to talk water and bonding. 2 guys fully dressed fishing and catching fish. ( life is good )

Seams the op gives more credit to nudity than sharing a good talk with a friend. I you need to be naked to really connect with people I must say that's unusual but not the worst thing on the world, why he didn't offer one of his swimming trunks or any short? I don't wanna see you in Court explaining the judge that you can only openly talk naked.
For me if he is a friend I always talk with the heart and openly that's the benefits of friendship he means you no harm and it's there for you no need to conceal joy archivements sickness or troubles.
If you want a bounding experience be there on a hard moment or make a night of network gaming on your house trash food knowing the strategy of your friends and sleep deprivation made great memories.
Parenting sleep deprivation not so good.

Yep. I'm an old hippy, so nudity has never been a barrier with most of my friends.

BINGO! This, quite frankly, is the only kind of male bonding I do. I especially enjoy it when I can fish with my two sons.

I've never had an experience like that. I've never really been naked around my friends (lady friends excepted) never mind hanging out naked.

One time, in the evening, I heard laughter and water splashing at a lake right near where a bunch of friends and acquaintances were hanging out. I went down the path to the lake, but when I got there the small group had left except for two women. One was dressed but with wet hair, and she said a bunch of people had taken on a skinny-dip dare. Since the other woman (a lesbian friend) and I were too late, she challenged us to do our own skinny dip. We looked at each other, shrugged, said why not, then quickly stripped and jumped off the dock into the cool water. It was a quick and fun experience and we all had a good laugh.

Skinny dipping might not be the right term, but I went to a Korean spa w some buddies for one of their gf's bdays. It was a goofy experience. At first we were kinda awkward about undressing and stuff, but I could also tell that none of us wanted to appear awkward about it. Eventually it was fine. I was the only uncut one and one guy commented on it. I have a buddy who has a forest down there, to where you practically can't see his dick at all. We told him he's gotta trim a bit. We all got the scrubs done and saw more of each other than we'd ever imagined. Made me feel good about what I have going on, if you know what I mean.
