Yeah, but heroin chic describes the eating-disorder look perfectly. On a side note, most guys don't go for women who look like they're going to black out any moment. Most of us just prefer a woman with a more balanced look, but beyond one-night stands, looks aren't really our main concern.

Yeah, I don't like the real "heroin chic", complete with pallid skin and sickly eyes, I just like the very thin look. A glow of good health is a big plus, and eyes that actually focus are pretty groovy.

Wow, threads move fast......

I have to agree with the other ladies, you are all awesome to post with.

I've only been around here for a short time but it doesn't take long to see what the posters are like. Just by reading this board I can see how smart and funny and unique you all are (of course ladies included).

I don't have a whole lot to say on the subject of skinny guys all the mentions of Brad Pitt *wipes drool off keyboard* made me lose concentration...............

LOL, I actually thought of that before I posted it, but I am 42 after all so I'm perfectly entitled to say "groovy" if I want.

LeahCat: Don be so modest Zora, we can all see the pics of you and Id be pretty sure there'd be more guys interested in 'older' woman like yourself than a 'younger' one like me. Hell, we only have to look at the posts to see how attracted they are :)
And Im sure no-one gets creeped out by you drooling over the gay guys. As a fully bi-girl I know theres a straight girl I drool over every time I log onto the board. Hopefully she doesnt get creeped out by it and takes it as a compliment

MZ, you definitely are not old, you're ageless there, darlin'. And by the way, since when the hell is "groovy" considered out of date?
But since I'm 185 lbs, I'm pretty lean and vascular in terms of body fat. But yeah, if you've ever watched some pornos where there's an ugly skinny guy fucking a girl, you'd see that his dick is substantially larger.

Leah, I always take attention from anyone as a compliment, so I just hope others feel the same way. It takes little more than a moron to figure out if someone is responding to my attention, and if they don't that's cool too! Some gay guys like to flirt with women still, some dont. Some young guys are into older women, some prefer to stay closer to their own age bracket, it's all good. As for a young woman such as yourself not being attractive to the men here, surely you jest! You are a hot sexy babe, and at your young age, I'm sure you're everybody's type!

Massive, my age is just a fact, not a mental condition. Up until this year, I had never dated younger men, but now that I have, I want to guard against becomming some weird old lady going "fishing in the kiddie pool" so to speak.
I enjoy these forums immensely and just want to make sure everyone feels comfortable to express their preferences, just as I have.

Mme Z and Massive,

Your comments only go to show that graciousness is not dead on this board. Mme Z, as we have discussed before you are probably in the prime of your life and you wear it well. Massive, your comments were as usual thoughtful and sweet. Leah cat , never be afraid to give a compliment. We all have eyes , regardless of the sexual orientation. One of the smallest things in the world is holding back a compliment to others because of our own insecurity. Likewise, everyone that gives a compliment is not always "hitting" on us. I think it is unfortunate that you feel you have to preface your compliment but I can fully understand why you do so. Skittishness runs rampant here and you do want to be clear that your intention is taken in the correct fashion. Oh and JOnb, honey the word "groovy" doesnt go out until we stop using it .Because seriously "Groovy" was a term of the late sixties and early seventies. I know that Mme was not yet at the age to have used it in the context it was meant at that time. Your arbitrary expiration date is just that . That is the groovy thing about it! LOL!

Personally, I just like men! To be quite honest though, I do like my men healthy and with a nice build. I guess it depends on how you look at the male body thtat would determine if he is too skinny or not. Example, I don't think I would be attracted to a man whose rib cage was only covered by skin. Too thin. On the flip side, I do not think I would be attractive to a man for whom it would take an exploration to find his rib cage.

I am happy in the medium. Being American Indian, it is not often we find men in this category. It goes from one extreme to the other; at least that is what I have found.

Does any of this make sense?

Of course it does, BB, it's preferences! We all have them, and I find it interesting to see who finds what attractive. I like them in the middle too, or very skinny, or even if they like to eat desert sometimes. I guess it really depends on the guy's personality and how he feels about himself. A skinny guy that's proud of his body and can't wait to get naked in front of me is great, but I feel the same way about a guy who's got an extra 10 or 20 lbs of padding if he's not weird about it. I don't like men who are too obsessed with themselves, nomatter what their body style.

ExoBus: I'm skinny.
I am still very athletic, but I don't do as many activities as I used to. My six pack has faded some, but I am by no means 'meaty'.
I just bought a workout bench, so i can start getting firm again.

Yeah, it's the unfortunate combination of thrifty genes with a tropical or semi-tropical environment. Plains peoples tend to be skinny; we can wear several layers of clothing for the South Dakota winter, but it's damn hard to get much cooler than naked or nearly so in the summer.

Then the thrifty gene, along with all-fat-all-carb commodities, comes in. Of course, describing non-coding DNA will cost me $200,000, even though the company I'll be paying originally only patented one function of non-coding DNA, one which they didn't even discover.
