yeah I usually only ever see them worn on tv for the most part nowadays. Most guys I know wear more brief like underwear. They have Cole wearing baggy boxers on Riverdale and same with Jake Short in that movie Sex Appeal.

I think the worst recent example was Tom Holland in one of the Spiderman films. He was supposed to have been wearing them under his skintight Spiderman suit. I mean, come on.

Maybe it's a straight boy puritan thing. I can't think of a single person I know who wears baggy boxers

Just anecdotal I guess but I still remember changing rooms in the mid 2000's and there wasn't a single loose boxer to be seen. All boxer briefs and briefs.

I'm thinking it's the latter. I definitely don't think its common for young guys, especially, to wear the loose old skool boxers. It's an annoying trend for sure.

Nah, you're wrong. Most younger guys in the US do actually wear boxer shorts. You get made fun of in gym class if you wear tight underwear and it's seen as for old men

That’s such an interesting bit of information, I think it must be the opposite in the UK. I remember getting changed for gym class and everyone would be wearing boxer briefs, it would rare to see a guy with loose boxers.

That would make sense. I remember growing up I was confused watching movies and YouTubers from the UK since boxer briefs were barely a thing here. They're a little more well known now but I was in college a year ago and young people still don't seem to really be wearing them, I think it's more common for older men or athletes.
