Anybody remember this guy from back in the late 70s/early 80s?

He was a character whose job it was to teach kids to take care of themselves and eat right.

If this is the original Slim, it's interesting to read what he lists as his interests now ...

Totally remember him. My sisters and I had his book and he actually payed a visit to my elementary school and did his schtick at an assembly (early 80s).

I used to run behind the couch and hide when he came on. My mother was confused. He scared the fuck out of me...no joke. Biggest childhood trauma!
