I've read that smell is the strongest memory trigger of our senses. I agree. An unexpected quick whiff can return me like a laser beam to a specific time/place/event. For me, some of these occasionally encountered fragrances have overt or subtle sexual connections. Here are a few of mine:

    Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil
    Fresh Peaches
    Clothes washed in Gain detergent!?

The smell of a fire in the fireplace...
Champagne right after you open the bottle...
The way you smell after a day of snow skiing...
The way you smell after a day at the beach...
The way sheets smell after being washed with "Forever New"...
    Chlorine in swimming pools...
    Night blooming jasmine...
There used to be a store on Wilshire Boulevard called I. Magnin... the way that store smelled when you walked in was intoxicating to me; I've never found anything else quite like it.

A good man's cologne. If you are talking sexual arousal - that does it for me. My first really good lover always smelled of good cologne and to this day that smell means good sex is on it's way. Then later - all the smells of sex mixed in with that cologne... wow....

The smell of a packed free weights room on a hot afternoon.*drools* The feral waft of sweat, testosterone, and the unmistakable reek of healthy, sexually prime men.

    Where do I start, so many smells turn me on;

    Dubbin
    Fresh sweat
    Sun lotion
    Shower fresh skin
    Sex
Some people's unique personal smell, usually best smelt behind their ears or in the crook of their neck
    Clean sheets
    Sex soiled sheets
Any number of perfumes and cologne/aftershaves, I wont bore you with a list
The smell of the streets of Rome/Paris/Madrid/Tunis/several other cities on a summer evening after a brief rain fall.

    I could go on.

Fresh, hot roofing tar - phwoar!
The air in an old barn that is laden with hay dust,
A new car's interior on a hot day,
    YSL Khoros cologne,
Humid, chlorinated air in a pool's locker room,
The odour that a hot, dry, sealed loft/attic emits in the summertime,
Okay, I kid you not - the unique plastic smell of Ken & Barbie's shoes!

the mixture of the natural smell of my ex-girlfriend's skin and the perfume she used to wear. i don't know what brand it was, but i think it was something "...violet".

every time she slept over at my place, i gave a t-shirt of mine for her to sleep in. when she left the next morning, i would stay in the bed for at least 10 minutes, closing my eyes and just smelling that t-shirt she wore. it was truly a fantastic excitement. not in a way like i popped a boner or anything, more like falling even more in love with her... loved it!
